[VIDEO] Gov. Ron DeSantis who could be a future POTUS is a leader. I could follow this guy, hell perhaps even work with him. We've been hearing so much about "don't say gay", but then what does it mean.
It was referenced by Wanda Sykes who childishly - well she is a comedian - kept saying gay during the ceremony in reference to the bill. It seems this is the soundbite people are using with this proposal.
However the Blaze video above refers to this Florida bill signed into law by the Florida Governor is more of an anti-grooming bill. At least we hear his words with regards to the bill and why he signed it into law.

[VIDEO] Bill O'Reilly explains President Trump has to deal with coronavirus, however, there were no supply chain issues or inflation or high gas prices (well I added gas prices it's true though). Now we have President Biden coronavirus is still an issue, but not to where it was blown up to in 2020. And consider we have high gas prices, inflation and supply chain issues.
The emphasis on green energy has hurt everyday Americans (meaning that because of an emphasis on eliminating fossil fuels gas prices has gone up), food prices have gone up, over the holiday season consumers were concerned about having Christmas presents for example, we have inflation.
2020 was a rough year as the nation was shut down over coronavirus concerns. However after the election President Trump was able to ensure the development of a vaccine. Meanwhile many Americans wanted Trump out believing the hype of the MSNBC or CNN of the world and the verdict is clear to me Biden hasn't made anything better. President Trump seems to have better results.
[VIDEO] This is an eye opening documentary about the homelessness situation in California. It's definitely believable that this is a situation created by addiction and gov't unwillingness to really curb the issue of addiction.
[VIDEO] Entitled young people cause enough of a scene that they don't just disrupt an event on campus they disrupt classes and faculty meetings. These young people go to one of the well known reputable schools in the world and show that they can't handle being told to grow up.
Seems to be an ongoing thing in higher ed right now. You shout down people you disagree with. You try to shut down an event that you have an issue with. You're not interested in a real debate or discuss you just want to take over the discussion and declare yourself the victor.
And if academia causes this, then academia has only caused you to not look at the world with great discernment. You just have your opinions about the world and just hold on no matter what and the real logic just doesn't sink in.
[VIDEO] I heard about this from someone I know and didn't get a chance to see it when it aired. Republican Rep. Maria Salazar was on Tucker this week and well was told she didn't do very well and was demolished. I only saw the first perhaps minute or so of this segment where Tucker showed her in a video by another news outlet and her responses were embarrassing.
That's when I knew this interview was going to be uncomfortable...
[VIDEO] Shocking development for the moment Smollett's defense team is appealing the sentence handed down in a Cook County court more than six days ago. Remember his outburst after his sentencing about him not being suicidal claiming if anything happened he didn't do it.
It was also in the news however that he was in a mental health ward of Cook County Jail and that he wasn't eating at all during his brief stay in jail. The mental health thing I'm not surprised about based on his outburst, being in jail I think is a very difficult state. I can't credibly sit here in front of you and say I'm hardened criminal and can get used to jail. I know for sure that's not the place for me, no more than it might be for Smollett.
Regardless he has an appeal and he's out on bond and from here we shall see what's next. Will his appeal fail and he might have to further serve his 150 day sentence? I read that for good behavior he could've been out in 75 days. Anyway what's next for this amazing saga?
However the judge's takedown at Smolletts sentence is priceless. I hate to see someone's reputation destroyed, however, how spectacular was this and all it took was staging this rather incredulous hoax.

Just recently I put $97 of gas into my vehicle. I've never seen it go that high. We can couple the energy policy of Let's go Brandon with the volatility of the Russia situation as they have their own oil on the market. This situation was needless, however, the green new deal/climate change crowd insists on their way and say we need to elimate all fossil fuels and make everyone buy an electric car....
Seems like such a bad economic idea to limit options because you only want one....

According to Republican State Sen. Melissa Melendez Californians aren't that impressed with her, yet she with Joe Biden are at the top of the mountain in American politics. This refugee thinks he'll be a target if he involves himself in the fighting there and it might not necessarily be racial. Well I'm being a bit literal here, however, he's going to be seen as a foreigner that is easily identified. I suppose that's the point being made here.
The refugee himself may not feel the need to stick his neck out for a nation that has played host to him. All one could say is that it's his choice to fight or not, he chooses not to then that's fine. If he's not a native Ukrainian, and isn't trying to become a citizen there then he has no obligation.

[VIDEO] While I haven't watched the State of the Union when it aired on Tuesday nite, however, I've heard many things about it. I know he actually called for support to our police forces around the nation after over a year of calls to defund police. Many Democrats may not like that rhetoric, although I think it's correct in terms of a crime wave in many of America's largest cities. We need police, it's foolish to think defunding police or doing away with police will cause the general public - or more accurate people who doesn't care anything about law & order - will be apt to keep the peace with some form of authority in the form of law enforcement.
Another takeaway I've heard about is how he basically plagiarized some of Donald Trump's rhetoric. Bascially as far as some of his economic policies in a time of serious inflation. The police thing could be a Trump talking point since during the second half of 2020 he could be seen as a law & order president.
If you believe Liberal Hivemind this SOTU didn't move the needle at all. We see everyday citizens on TV programs at some point after Tuesday's SOTU shred this address into confetti.
Also I'm not too surprised that the President may well have plagiarized some portions of his speech he does have a history of it if you have observed him on the nat'l stage over the years. It's amazing that he would plagiarized the man he defeated for a second term, especially since the fact that he's in office is certainly a reaction to Trump's four years in office.
Either way, this SOTU wasn't very helpful to him. It might not help Nancy Pelosi get one more term as Speaker of the House it might tip the balance away from Chuck Schumer who may well become Senate Minority Leader again. With what's been going on with the ongoing Ukraine invasion and concerns over nuclear war I hope that those who cast a vote for Let's go Brandon errr I'm sorry President Biden in 2020 here's hoping they realized how much of a mistake they made.
[VIDEO] This video from Dice discusses the recent State of the Union Address where President Brando....Joe Biden discusses the issue of defunding police. Even he recognizes the folly of that policy enacted in many cities in the aftermath of George Floyd's demise. We see quotes from a number of Democrats on this many of them support defund police.
I suppose even he recognizes - or perhaps whoever wrote his speech recognizes - that defunding police is a mistake in the face of crime waves in our urban centers. We've been hearing about smash and grabs in many of our retail stores around the country. Of course we also have issues with assaults and gun crimes and of course homicides that we need police to adequately deal with.
The next step is to deal with these prosecutors who treat some of these violent crimes with kid gloves, however, in order to deal with the crime for certain we need to drop this defund police fantasy. Some of the Democrats you see in the video above including San Francisco Mayor London Breed even recognizes that public officials are failing on this issue and enough is enough.
Still some will still choose politics over keeping the citizenry safe.
[VIDEO] While the situation continues to develop in Ukraine as I see that Russian forces are attacking Europe's largest nuclear plant there let's come back home for a moment.
In conservative circles we hear so much about how San Francisco residents recalled three members of their board of education. They got tired of the issue being rename schools on a woke basis instead of working on returning kids to school. I like the idea of bringing back common sense instead of unworkable wokeness that defies logic. Larry Elder discusses this further.
In this case here's a lesson for conservatives. Move where you want but be very concerned about what goes on in your city hall or school board. It seems the hot button battles of this cultural war will in fact be fought in those local venues.
And besides as Chicago will eventually get an elected school board this will be another local venue to fight the cultural war as well. I hope parents will use their votes wisely for school board, the children are counting on it.

[VIDEO] Well as I write this I see a number of critiques of President Bra....Joe Biden's State of the Union address. Of course these critiques from the right more than anything and often not great critiques.
However, I feel it's important to share the man's words spoken by himself. It's best for you and me for that matter to listen to this address myself with very little editorialism - thank goodness for C-Span. If you can stand one hour of that man speaking then you will hear for yourself what he said.
As for the GOP response it comes from Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and again that goodness for C-Span. [VIDEO]
BTW, I really wanted to share this John Stossel vid that dropped hours before the State of the Union. It was basically about what he hoped President Biden would say in his address. I get the feeling a lot of this just wasn't said at all.
ALSO, I see that this is said to be his first state of the union address. Last year he did give an address to Congress, however, it didn't fall under the label of state of the union.
