Among others including the recalled Chesa Boudin is Kim Foxx who Cook County residents had the opportunity to get rid of but we re-elected her in 2020. So we got her until the next presidential race when Cook County votes for state's attorney. For those of you who just want her primaried and hopefully defeated - which honesty is more likely than voting Republican for most - be very wary of what other Democrat you want to replace her with.

[VIDEO] Bill O'Reilly discussed this on his program last week and it seems San Francisco is taking back their city. Chesa Boudin will be replaced as soon as the recent recall election, well Proposition H is certified. Mayor London Breed will install an interim prosecutor.
Now if only we could do that here in Cook County...🤷
[VIDEO] While the situation continues to develop in Ukraine as I see that Russian forces are attacking Europe's largest nuclear plant there let's come back home for a moment.
In conservative circles we hear so much about how San Francisco residents recalled three members of their board of education. They got tired of the issue being rename schools on a woke basis instead of working on returning kids to school. I like the idea of bringing back common sense instead of unworkable wokeness that defies logic. Larry Elder discusses this further.
In this case here's a lesson for conservatives. Move where you want but be very concerned about what goes on in your city hall or school board. It seems the hot button battles of this cultural war will in fact be fought in those local venues.
And besides as Chicago will eventually get an elected school board this will be another local venue to fight the cultural war as well. I hope parents will use their votes wisely for school board, the children are counting on it.
[VIDEO] As you see in this clip from Bill O'Reilly the Golden State voted for its own continued decline and not a course correction. Keep in mind next year California has a gubernatorial election and Gov. Gavin Newsom is expected to run again.
Here's a cartoon that I just find horrible. It makes reference to an incident where an unhinged person wearing a gorilla mask attempted to throw an egg at Larry Elder. BTW, that person missed their target.
[VIDEO] This video is a few days old and feel it's worth sharing now as we're in the month of that recall election. Sept. 14th it's real and Californians will decided if Gov. Gavin Newsom needs to go and California can get its course correction. If Californians vote that Newsome must go, then they get to vote on who will replace him until the end of that term in 2023 - as 2022 is the regular gubernatorial election there and a number of other states around the nation.
So whoever wins in California (I hope it's Larry Elder) they'll have to turn right around and run for re-election next year if they want a full four years.
Regardless this video by Reason goes over the scene in California. Why is there a recall election? I mean we know why Gov. Newsom just isn't that good, and people are fed up with his actions during the pandemic. And then what those candidates who actually did talk to reason hope to do to change California for the better.
Issues include the pandemic, the economy, energy, the homeless, and crime. It's a shame that for such a wealthy and beautiful state - Newsom states in this video that the Golden State is the 5th largest economy - that it seems California has become a state with a horrible standard of living. It's not the model that Gov. Newsom wants his state to be.
[VIDEO] As you know Larry Elder is running in the recall election for Governor of California. If Golden State voters recall Gov. Gavin Newsom, there is a strong possibility that Elder would be voted to replace Newsom.
As Elder rolls out his campaign for Governor, one issue he has discussed is public education. He discusses the systemic racism of public education in Los Angeles. The systemic racism being schools in low-income communities have the least qualified teachers. And the schools may have staff that look like the community - i.e. Black teachers and administrators - however that doesn't help the schools continue to perform.
Another focus of this video released after Elder declared his candidacy for Governor is that California plans to phase out a basic skills test that will help teachers attain their credentials. What is addressed here is racism - and the ones who like to talk about systemic racism is unable to adequately define it in their own words. You've heard the argument that the SAT is culturally biased, are the the tests that California teachers are expected to take for their credentials culturally biased?
Is the Golden State willfully setting the bar lower for aspiring teachers only to set them up to fail? We hear of teachers who can't spell or even seemingly confused at simple math problems. Meanwhile we hear 75% of Black boys are unable to read at their grade level. And there are frustrated parents out there who don't like what they see with their children and the people who are charged with educating them.
Can Larry Elder fix an education system that seems very set in its ways?
[VIDEO] The above video was posted on July 20, and Elder was on Tucker Carlson Tonight to discuss being kicked off the ballot. As we know though Elder won a ruling that negated the reason why he was removed from the ballot and he will be on the recall ballot to replace California Gov. Gavin Newsom.
I'm eating my words because a few days ago I wrote a tweet in response to seeing former Detroit Police Chief James Craig announcing his run for Governor of Michigan against incumbent Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. She hasn't announced if she will run for re-election however.

[VIDEO] I've wanted to share this with you for a while with one catch well it seems California is leaving longtime right wing radio personality Larry Elder off the recall ballot. First Californians have to decide whether or not they want to recall sitting Gov. Gavin Newsom. When they say yes they want to recall him then they decide who replaces him.
The last time this happened was in 2003 in California. Californians recalled Gov. Gray Davis and elected in his place the Terminator Arnold Schwarzenegger. That's almost a pro-wrestling name isn't it?
Anyway, also in this race is Kaitlyn (formerly Bruce) Jenner and of course as in 2003 a number of candidates though no one famous or of note outside of the Golden State. Since Larry Elder has thrown his hat in the ring I am hoping he goes forward, if he's successfully kept off the ballot then hopefully he runs next year as that is the regular gubernatorial election.

Even the world's most repressive regimes often have laws on the books that pretend to grant citizens certain political rights. What matters is the extent to which citizens are actually allowed to use those rights — you know, in real life.Now these people are seeking petition signatures and then approval and are running into resistance at the official levels of government. Particularly the election commissions who doesn't believe that citizen's can't understand it although that's not very believeable. It's almost like not trusting the people to make the right decision as to whether or not they might sign the petitions or not.
In Michigan, taxpayers are now trying to recall ten state legislators, and in the process testing how "real life" their democratic rights are.
The ten targeted solons come from both parties. Prior to their fateful votes to raise taxes against their constituent wishes, taxpayer groups repeatedly warned them that a recall effort would be launched against them if they voted for the $1.6 billion dollar tax increase. And yet, a few months ago, vote for the tax boost they did. And it passed, adding yet more depressive burden to the state's lingering recession.
Michiganders, and all people for that matter, are free to agree or disagree on taxes, as well as with recall campaigns. But it remains an undisputed fact: the Michigan constitution does provide citizens with a process for recall.
But does the right to recall mean anything to politicians, practically?
State Representative Tim Allen says, "The fight is to keep them off the ballot." Notice: His goal isn't to win an election. It is to prevent the voters from ever getting the opportunity to decide.
State House Democrats plan to use "blockers" against the recall petitioners. One Democrat, unnamed in media reports, says the plan is to "shadow" or "follow" those who circulate the petition and "have a debate with each potential signer in an attempt to convince them not to sign the recalls."
In other words, a campaign of stalking and voter intimidation.
We've seen this before — in Michigan and elsewhere. It is a tactic of increasing popularity on the big-government left. Hire blockers to swarm around petitioners at the mall or grocery store or library, creating angry street theater to scare away normal folks wishing to sign a petition.
"In past petition drives where blockers were employed, these blockers have often screamed at citizens attempting to sign petitions, or argued with petitioners every time a citizen approaches to sign the petition," explains Leon Drolet, head of the Michigan Taxpayers Alliance. "Opponents of the Michigan Civil Rights Initiative petition drive went as far as to approach tables set up by petition gatherers and pour water over the signed petitions."
I'll give the state Republican Party some points for creativity not sure I would go this route. This would have been more fodder for a party activist who is more on the outside than they would be inside the process. But then who knows they couldn't afford to buy tickets to a Blackhawks game, use a hairstylist, or whatever else they wanted to do for this gimmick.
But something snapped among the rank and file last week in Springfield. They were finally fed up with being furniture, tired of being sat on by a governor and four leaders who hate one another too much to get anything done. They were fed up. Not just Republicans from Downstate but Democrats, too.Uh-oh I don't know if the governor understands that what he's been doing is very problematic. If the voters weren't upset enough to say that they were threw, they may be there now. Who knows Blagojevich could have turned this state red and not just with anger, but Republican. Well assuming that the Republicans can take advantage but look here's the real point.
And so Wednesday night, despite the urging of the governor, Speaker Michael Madigan and Minority Leader Tom Cross, despite the valiant efforts of Rep. Julie Hamos (D-Evanston) to craft a compromise, rank and file members dug in and said no. Not until Downstate got a little respect.
"We've been lied to and bamboozled," Black said. "We don't all wear overalls."
Though there's always been tension between Chicago and Downstate, it's been a lot worse since Blago arrived. It hasn't helped that he spends as much time as possible away from the capital.
But when the governor had the nerve to jet off on our dime Wednesday for a Blackhawks game in Chicago, leaving behind a Legislature he had ordered into session that was working until 9 that night on a state crisis of epic proportions, well, lawmakers were livid.
"It's galvanized Downstate Democrats and Republicans like nothing in my memory," Black said.
And Chicago area lawmakers, too, some of whom were reportedly meeting without their leaders in small groups Thursday.
Could the inmates be taking over the asylum?
We can only hope.
Lawmakers were already spitting mad when they pulled into town Wednesday morning. It was the 17th time Blagojevich had dragged them into special session to find a long-term funding solution for the mass transit crisis that threatens to shut down the buses and trains of the CTA, RTA, Metra and Pace.And there's a good chance the CTA might be close to another Doomsday set for January and he might be thinking he can get some more money from somewhere. That is going to be very difficult to sustain!
But that morning, newspapers from one end of the state to the other carried a wire story that made legislators' blood boil. The Associated Press' John O'Connor reported that the governor had hoodwinked them again. That Blago's most recent emergency $27 million Band-Aid for the hemorrhaging urban and suburban transit systems wasn't what he claimed it to be. That some of the cash he miraculously came up with last month for the CTA was money he quietly diverted from desperately needed statewide road and building projects.
The AP got its story despite stonewalling from the Blagojevich administration, which "ignored repeated requests from the Associated Press over the past three weeks for more details about the source of the money and what projects have been set aside."
Lt. Gov. Pat Quinn on Thursday endorsed the idea of for the first time giving Illinois voters the ability to recall public officials. He did not necessarily endorse the specific recall of Blagojevich, but there was another Democrat who did. But State Rep. Jack Franks during a news conference did just that.Well the Tribune might have opened the floodgate, however, this had to have been festering for a while. Besides we had this all summer long overtime session where the governor seemed unwilling to compromise or even work with memebers of the state legislature. It seems really getting into the nuts and bolts of governing was never a big interest to him. A lot of people gripe that he's always in campaigning mode.
