Ben Shapiro Sunday: Not everything is about race - Coleman Hughes

[VIDEO] Very interesting discussion between Ben Shapior and author Coleman Hughes.

One takeaway from this. I never watch The View - and from the clips seen in recent years perhaps that program as it became won't be missed - however it was interesting that Hughes was on that show. He got a better response from the audience than from the panel on the program. Sunny Hostin was said to be on the attack against him.

Again I did see that program so take it with a grain of salt. I might find clips of this, but I found this interesting.

If you're an elite with a massive platform you don't reflect the real views of the people who either follow or watch you. Perhaps it's one sign of who's really out of touch vs. who might hold what I could call common sense views.

I should find his book and read it. We need an antidote to critical race theory.

Mark Dice on 'anti-whiteism'

[VIDEO] Dice starts off discussing a teacher who has been fired by her school district because of her posts where she was upset her sister is in a relationship with a white man. And of course he has been talking about anti-white bias for years.

The lesson to start with is to be very careful with what you post about online. These days the more outrageous a post such as having an issue with an interracial relationship the more likely it could get media attention. And worse still we're talking about a teacher!

Also I might add, another point Mark Dice makes is that if the reverse happened, say a white female teacher has an issue with her sister dating a Black man would definitely get "canceled" for making public posts about this. While typically in a similar situation as I described in the first paragraph, there might normally be no punishment for the Black teacher.

Ah "reverse racism" gets hardly any attention while white on black racism gets more. However, shouldn't racism or discrimination or prejudice be wrong no matter the ethnicity or race?

#Tucker: This open race hate should worry you

[VIDEO] Tucker Carlson on last nite's program discusses what he saw whenever he tunes into MSNBC, especially watching the program of Tiffany Cross. And he does primarily soundbites of Ms. Cross as opposed to the more well known Joi Reid from that network. He starts off telling the story of what happened in Rwanda in 1994 and the genocide stoked by the radio broadcasts taking place there.

Stossel interviews John McWhorter on 'anti-racism'

[VIDEO] This is an interesting discussion on the state of "anti-racism" in America today. McWhorter who is actually a linguistic professor refers to anti-racism as a religion. They discussion the exaggeration of victimhood or even whether or not standardized tests are racist.

John McWhorter: How does anti-racism hurt Black Americans

[VIDEO] One question to ask when you watch this discussion between Chris Williamson and John McWhorter is whether or not Blacks are treated by "anti-racists" as simpletons. What do you think once you follow this discussion. Are these anti-racists coming in saying we know what's best for you better than you do?

This is a 50 min. discussion.

BTW, on this discussion I find that McWhorter and myself are on the same page about a lot of what has been going on lately. I believe the unrest after the death of George Floyd was more about the pandemic and the lockdowns. That if people want to upend the society largely created by Europeans say American society and culture essentially whiteness, what would we replace that with and would we like that world.

McWhorter even dismisses the anti-racist books by Robin DiAngelo and Ibram Kendi referring to those books as useless. And especially useless for Black people and refers to both authors' works as utterly terrible. Perhaps someone has read those books and have the same opinion.

Also remember that McWhorter is a linguist and also an academic who's know for discussion racial issues on the cable TV circuit.

Timcast IRL: Leftism CAN'T allow victimized groups to think differently

[VIDEO] Another year old clip from Tim Pool's podcast. He speaks with Brandon Straka who's been silent on social media since January. I found a more recent article that shows Straka will plead guilty on charges related to the so-called "Insurrection" on January 6, 2021.

He's on the podcast in August 2020 talking about the left has issues with "minorities" such as LGBTQ+ or Blacks or Latinos that they claim are frequently victimized and they're willing to demonize the ones who won't align with them. One way to look at this is that they just like the clip about how teachers are horrified that their students follow Ben Shapiro or Joe Rogan. Just shows they just have issues with a different POV they just want theirs to reign supreme over all others.

Liberal Hivemind: The "anti-racist" attack Black Republican

[VIDEO] No huge surprise to know that former Detroit Police Chief James Craig is running for governor against the incumbent Gretchen Whitmer. I know that she's taken some heat for her pandemic policies in the state of Michigan. I think anywhere there were any shelter in place orders, economic shutdowns, etc those elected officials who enacted them took some heat.

And Chief Craig is known for keeping the peace in Detroit as other major cities around the nation were burning due to racial unrest during a pandemic. I would expect that he would make an excellent Governor of Michigan if he were to decisively beat Gov. Whitmer next year. The polls right now indicated that if he was the Republican nominee he'd win too bad this isn't anywhere near Nov. 2022.

The clips you see in this Hivemind video just shows who the true white supremacists or privileged or raged are. The white folks who were just as easily screaming in the face of Craig and anyone in his entourage. The typical narrative a Black person is a Republican and here comes the vile.

The question that comes out in this case is probably why. Why is Craig a Republican? Why does he want to be with the enemy of equality and tolerance? And then we see how tolerant these so-called anti-racists are. They aren't, they don't want to see a Black man have self-determination as far as his own political alignment.

There was a sign in this video, I should screencap it.

Racist ass republican Craig is in bed with Mayor Dugan and City Council. And I didn't even see the green sign directly behind James Craig I see mostly James Craig gives nazis....I can't make out the rest of it. I just thought that sign was calling Craig a Nazi when we know full well Nazis probably don't like Craig.

Anyway we're in for trouble ahead. You want to be on the side of common sense you will be attacked by those who throw it in the wind.

If you see the comments to this video Craig has already got a few new voters because of this video. However we have another year before we can vote for real. Time will tell how successful Craig will be in becoming Michigan's first Black governor.

Tomorrow is the recall in California

Here's a cartoon that I just find horrible. It makes reference to an incident where an unhinged person wearing a gorilla mask attempted to throw an egg at Larry Elder. BTW, that person missed their target.

Stossel: Toxic victimhood

[VIDEO] John Stossel discusses "Woke Racism" with author and academic John McWhorter who wrote a book called Woke Racism. The work of Robin DiAngelo and Ibram X. Kendi are considered toxic and much worse for Black Americans in the long run.

Painting one group as irredeemable racist and the other Blacks as victims. Having whites get on their knees and apologize for generations of racism. Even insisting that no matter where you look there's racism such as academic tests. Oh yeah Black students don't need to test better we just need to eliminate test because they're racist.

As far as criminal justice. Well the criminal justice system is racist, it's racist to keep Black boys from bullying other Black boys because Black boys are disproportionately affected by in school suspensions. Therefore the most aggressive Black boys must not be held accountable for their actions.

There is some light under the tunnel, Stossel argues that the so-called "anti-racists" like DiAngelo and Kendi seem to be winning. I personally think the "race riots" after the death of George Floyd was heavily affected by the pandemic related lockdowns and economic inactivity. McWhorter believes that as we start to get back to some form of normal and become less anxious that there will be pushback against "toxic anti-racism".

Dave Rubin's first interview with Larry Elder

[VIDEO] In 2016 this hour long discussion between Rubin and Larry Elder was posted to YouTube before Rubin became less of a progressive liberal leftist (PLL for short) and more of a classical liberal. Larry Elder is a well known conservative radio talk show host who has often described himself as a small L libertarian. Rubin himself admitted that this interview was a red pill moment and with facts Elder just demolished his progressive arguments on racial issues.

Elder also admitted in a later interview with Rubin - actually after he announced he was running for Governor of California in the coming recall election - that this interview got him more attention than ever before. It got him noticed by a whole new audience.

I've yet to see this interview in full, hopefully we can watch it all together and then I will have more comments. I share this with you so that you can think. I see the comments to this video and many revisited it after the craziness in the wake of George Floyd's death. There isn't a lot of thinking right now just knee jerk reactions of people who are unable or unwilling to view the issues of race in America objectively.

Another point to be made is that you don't stay a hardcore leftist, liberal, conservative, Democrat or Republican. Over time your political views will evolve just as easily as your religious views might evolve for example. I would have a hard time with being handed my ass on my own show although in Rubin's case this interview helped evolve further his views.

Perhaps that man just hates police

[VIDEO] You might remember John Thompson who is a duly elected state representative to the Minnesota legislature. Last year after the George Floyd riots in Minneapolis he went up to a Minneapolis police union official in a Twin Cities suburb and went on a very disgusting rant. It got attention video of his speech went viral you might have seen it on right wing media outlets. I'm sure the folks up in Minnesota heard about it on their local news.

Well more recently John Thompson got more attention claiming he's being racially profiled. He got stopped by police primarily for missing a license plate on the front of his vehicle. Police in St. Paul, Minnesota released footage from the officer's bodycam. The officer handled this as professionally as he could while Thompson seems to lose his cool claiming he's being profiled. I'm glad this officer didn't match Thompson's anger.

As this video goes further we also find out that is Thompson a resident in his Minnesota legislative district. The officer noted that Thompson presented a Wisconsin driver's license. We see on a document that Thompson has a Wisconsin address and his campaign address is in fact a P.O. Box in Minnesota. As far as his license presumably in Minnesota though perhaps in Wisconsin was suspended. So as he claims he's being racially profiled he's actually driving around on a suspended license....

It seems even the Gov. of Minnesota - yeah I hope that guy Walz gets voted out - realize that Thompson is unfit to serve. Thompson also has domestic violence charges to his record. I wonder if we can start the clock on Thompson's resignation from the Minnesota House of Representatives.

Explicatives...

[VIDEO] Depending upon who you watch you might have heard about Mara Gay of the N.Y. Times claiming she gets triggered by the American flag. Actually she stated that she's disturbed by seeing a number of white long Islanders waving the stars & stripes. You see in the video above Mr. Jason Siler discussing this latest mainstream media controversy.

The title is likely Ms. Gay misspeaking when she's trying to say expletives. Another comment that raises my eyebrow was when she says separating being American from whiteness. I'm not sure what that means, what does being an American mean to her?

It's just another example of equating a whole race of people with "hate". I don't think that's fair which reminds me of some graphic that was presented by the Smithsonian of all places discussing whiteness.

Officer Tatum: 1921 Tulsa Massacre...all lies?

[VIDEO] Over the past weekend we've been hearing a lot about this 1921 race riot out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. It's been drained in our head over the years how devastating this was to the Black Wall Street there in the Greenwood community over 100 years ago. I even stated that if there are to be reparations I think those affected back then should be entitled to whatever their ancestors were owed from back then.

I think what Officer Tatum is trying to tell you all is to do more research for yourself on this subject. I can be guilty of this unfortunately, there isn't much I know about this unfortunate incident in our history. As most race riots go a crime was alleged against a Black person and a white mob come into Black communities to burn, pillage, and sometimes to kill people. Tulsa of course isn't the first example of this behavior.

And it's funny to hear Tatum say the white folks of Tulsa came and pulled a BLM on Black Wall Street. He would say BLM will become the civil rights movement of the 2020s and even question the Civil Rights Movement of the 1950s and 60s. We had a Black Wall Street in the 1920s and 100 years later we're not even close. It's a legit question to ask, what happened?

On the other hand even as he labels Martin Luther King Jr. as a socialist, I would rather follow MLK Jr. than the Marxists of BLM. MLK is right to want people to be judged on the content of their character not the color of their skin. It seems today's racial/social justice activists want race to absolutely define you as either a victim or an oppressor. That's not the society I want to live in.

O'Reilly: Pastor states BLM is worse than COVID-19

[VIDEO]According to this clip you will see here as Bill O'Reilly discusses the comments of Bishop E.W. Jackson the coronavirus is a momentary health crisis that will run it's course, however, the racially divisive rhetoric and activism of BLM or the "woke" will take generations to settle. Too bad that he's right, one something is out there it will take time to just mitigate it's effects. Trying to mitigate a virus is one thing.

I stated last year racism is a virus as it turns out so is "wokeness" and anti-racism. It seems there is an obsession with pointing out a boogeyman no matter where it is.

Prager U: What is "critical race theory"?

[VIDEO] James Lindsay who is a founder of New Discourses tells us about this idea that maybe some of us have heard about for over the past year. Just at a glance it seems particularly destructive and race obsessed:

Critical Race Theory holds that the most important thing about you is your race. The color of your skin. That's who you are. Not your behavior. Not your values. Not your environment. Your race.

In Critical Race Theory, if you are a member of a "minoritized" racial group—their term, not mine—you are a victim of a system that is rigged against you, a system that doesn't want you to succeed. On the other hand, if your race is "privileged," you're an exploiter—whether you intend to be or not.

Critical Race Theory begins from the assumption that racism occurs in all interactions. To see how this works, consider this thought experiment: Imagine you own a shop, and two customers enter at the same time—one white and one black. Who do you help first? If you help the black person first, Critical Race Theory would say you did so because you don't trust black people to be left alone in your store. That's racist. If you helped the white person first instead, Critical Race Theory would say you did so because you think blacks are second-class citizens. That's racist, too.

That's Critical Race Theory. It can find racism in anything, even if it has to read your mind to do it.

Elder: Why did media use George Floyd for systemic racism narrative?

[VIDEO] Today's video and one I hadn't a chance to watch before sharing it with you. And knowing Larry Elder it's going to be a good one. One can only wonder if this narrative is overplayed. You decide.

Larry Elder Responds to Letter from Black Victicrat

[VIDEO] If you don't know what a "victicrat" is this is Elder's way of calling out those who adhere to the victim ideological. It seems that mindset is winning right now and in a letter which he addresses in this video released today.

Probably one thing we might already know Larry Elder is conservative. There are other Blacks who don't like conservatives and have fallen for the ideology of progressivism. Or perhaps even this idea of systemic racism which seems to be the new buzzword of our times.

Elder dispelles in the above vid the notions of systemic racism or even of white supremacy or even "redlining" that creditworthy Blacks can't get mortgages. He especially promotes the idea that you get in life what you put into it. If you think you're helpless then you will act accordingly, however, if you put some work into your aspirations it's better you put effort than to blame others who have.

Well that's my take anyway I hope you enjoy. Perhaps I should look into LarryTube.com since his YouTube channel with just over a half-million subscribers has been demonetized.

O'Reilly: U.S. braces for Floyd trial, unrest

[VIDEO] The trial of Derek Chauvin commenced and was immediately postponed because prosecution want to add the additional charge of third degree murder in addition to second degree murder and manslaughter. Also the trial of the three other officers involved in the death of George Floyd last year will commence after the Chauvin trial.

Bill O'Reilly on No Spin News states that with all the lawyers involved directly in the trial Chauvin is expected to get a fair trial. And besides that's what our criminal justice system is based on, however, because of what happened that fateful day near the end of May 2020 his life is ruined. Former Officer Chauvin lost his job, his wife, and for a good period of time his freedom.

As I stated in an earlier post he has the right to a fair trial, he should have a fair trial, he deserves a fair trial. However, I doubt anyone will be very happy with whatever outcome will result. If he gets pinched on manslaughter there could be trouble, if he's even acquitted there will be trouble.

At the same time we have to actually establish that Chauvin and those other three officers are solely responsible for Floyd's death while under restraint. I do believe in spite of the images of that interaction seen since, that is very difficult to prove very fairly. The last thing I want to see is a man sent to jail for a long time for something that he really isn't responsible for.

Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson (R-NC)

Since I saw this on Instapundit earlier this week I've been wanting to share this.

Mark Robinson is the sitting Lt. Governor of North Carolina who was elected just last year. In North Carolina their executive offices are contested during presidential election years. Either way it seems he as a Black Republican conservative he has to push back.

Lt. Gov. Robinson

Alas and this has historically been true Black Republicans or Black conservatives are singled out and at worse can be considered outcasts especially within the Black community. They just don't always follow the civil rights narrative whatever that is at any given time.

So it was reported on a blog BattleSwarm blog that he had a presser that tried to portray him as a member of the KKK. Well I have yet to see the video of his press conference, however, lately I've heard of this term "multiracial whiteness". I just wonder about the convoluted thinking that created that whole idea.

What I know about Lt. Gov. Robinson was that he got notice in the Tar Heel state for his stance on guns. He's clearly pro 2nd Amendment and one wonders if he's up for the top job there once it's available. He did get elected statewide there so time may well tell.

Equity vs. Equality

[VIDEO] Bill O'Reilly discusses the policy objectives of the Biden/Harris administration. What does it mean to have social equity vs. equality. O'Reilly explains that equity is giving a "minority" a pass for comitting a crime because they've been disadvantaged historically. Now if you have an issue with this you could be "cancelled" in some way - and if you're the wrong racial group you can be "cancelled".

Either way the idea of diversity and represented every disadvantaged group is really about equity. There is no real equality between individuals. Ideally that is the society we're supposed to creating as close to equality as is possible.

Isn't that right, Dr. Martin Luther King - not the color of my skin but the content of my character. That mentality seems missing sadly.
