Explicatives...

 

[VIDEO] Depending upon who you watch you might have heard about Mara Gay of the N.Y. Times claiming she gets triggered by the American flag. Actually she stated that she's disturbed by seeing a number of white long Islanders waving the stars & stripes. You see in the video above Mr. Jason Siler discussing this latest mainstream media controversy.

The title is likely Ms. Gay misspeaking when she's trying to say expletives. Another comment that raises my eyebrow was when she says separating being American from whiteness. I'm not sure what that means, what does being an American mean to her?

It's just another example of equating a whole race of people with "hate". I don't think that's fair which reminds me of some graphic that was presented by the Smithsonian of all places discussing whiteness.

So whatever "whiteness" Ms. Gay saw on Long Island whenever that was, perhaps this graphic illustrates things that trigger her. Basically this graphic for some illustrates what's wrong with America. And if you want to know you can still find info on whiteness on the Smithsonian's website.
