Tucker's interview with Vladimir Putin

[VIDEO] Tucker Carlson interviews the Dictator...President of Russia Vladimir Putin. Putin basically justifies his invasion of Ukraine basically using historical documents spending most of the time talking about history. This was a pretty long interview about two or so hours.

Another discussion that was interesting was Russia's relationship with the west with the United States and NATO and how he wanted to negotiate the end of the Ukraine war and it was scuttled by a British PM.

Tucker: This is why Democrats are taking us to war with Russia

[VIDEO] Let's come back to the earth here. Well while Elon Musk is on his way to owning the Twitter platform we still have an invasion in Ukraine. And now the Supreme Court could rule on Roe v. Wade in the near future. We also have the issues of America's current governing class.

As you see in Tucker Carlson's opening monologue on his TV program earlier this week we see why there is no real effort to end the invasion over there in Eastern Europe. To remove Russia's President Vladimir Putin is to effective punish Russia for what happened in 2016. Read "Russia hoax" the idea that Russia influenced the 2016 race in favor of Donald Trump and keeping out the inevitable Hillary Rodham Clinton.

But then there was nothing to the Russia hoax right, it was a hoax afterall. There's nothing out there to suggest that Russia was able to influence our election. One could allege the 2020 race was more influenced and rigged than 2016.

Still does this make any sense to you? The Democrats in the White House and in Congress are deadset on anything from regime change or otherwise making Russia pay for the fact that they suffered an "upset" in 2016. They thought they were d that election and they lost - REEEEEEEEE.

The Economist: Putin's Russia and the ghost of the Romanovs

[VIDEO] This video is just about four years old and sort of adds to the discussion of why Vladimir Putin of Russia is engaging in his campaign against Ukraine currently. As opposed to saying Putin is trying to emulate the old Soviet Union what he's really doing is trying to emulate the former ruling house of Romanovs.

Almost reminds me of a movie I saw recently that depicted in a fictional fashion the downfall of the last Russian Czar.

ABL: Ukraine Asks Congo Refugee To FIGHT Russia, Here's His RESPONSE!

[VIDEO] Anthony Brian Logan discusses a man on the street interview in Ukraine with a Congo refugee. This refugee thinks he'll be a target if he involves himself in the fighting there and it might not necessarily be racial. Well I'm being a bit literal here, however, he's going to be seen as a foreigner that is easily identified. I suppose that's the point being made here.

The refugee himself may not feel the need to stick his neck out for a nation that has played host to him. All one could say is that it's his choice to fight or not, he chooses not to then that's fine. If he's not a native Ukrainian, and isn't trying to become a citizen there then he has no obligation.

Regardless what a messy situation.

O'Reilly: Trump would be wise to step away from discussing Russia

[VIDEO] Trump spoke at CPAC last weekend as we will discuss and he was on a radio program discussing the Ukraine action. We will hear from the right that Russian President Vladimir Putin didn't do anything like this when Trump was in office. On the other hand from the left they might say Putin and Trump were buddies to the point that Putin interfered in the 2016 race in Trump's favor.

I'll let you hash that out if you wish. Bill O'Reilly's point is that well whenever Trump speaks about the Russian invasion what he says could be used against him. I think that's simple facts.

O'Reilly calls for hiatus from "Green New Deal" in face of possible World War

[VIDEO] Well I'll take a hiatus from Green New Deal, wokeness, pandemic, etc if we had to be ready for a World War. We have a very weak administration in office and sadly a very dangerous head of state willing to plunge the world order into chaos.

I mean Russia has taken Chernobyl. Do you know what happened there? A serious nuclear accident and they took it! To think it started off with peacekeepers.

In the meanwhile in order to further embark on the Green New Deal we ended our own oil production. We went from being energy independent to energy dependent so that we can have a few more electric cars on our roads. Meanwhile Russia and China doesn't care about electric cars.

Outplayed

[VIDEO] This aired on Newsmax yesterday presumably as the situation developed in eastern Ukraine where Russian peacekeepers were deployed to two breakaway regions of that nation. Bottom line is that the Brandon administration created a situation where Russian President Vladimir Putin would be so emboldened to potentially engage in further aggressive actions. Peacekeepers are a pretext I think, however, I think we're going to see far more smoother moves from Putin which are just as aggressive.

BTW, mean tweets wouldn't have allowed this to become a thing. Orange man knew how to handle the current strongman of Russia.

Invasion has begun...

Well I don't know if I should call it an invasion most of the headlines even from FOX News say that Russia is sending in peacekeepers to those regions that just today are seen by Russia as breakaway states from Ukraine.

Columns of military vehicles including tanks were seen in the early hours of Tuesday on the outskirts of Donetsk, the capital of one of the breakaway east Ukraine regions, after Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized the regions as independent states.

The Reuters reporter saw about five tanks in a column on the edge of the city and two more in another part of town.

No insignia were visible, but the appearance of the tanks came hours after Putin signed friendship treaties with the two separatist regions and ordered Russian troops to deploy on what Moscow called a peacekeeping operation.

Reuters reporters in Donetsk had not seen tanks on the streets in previous days.

Russian President Vladimir Putin recognized two breakaway regions in eastern Ukraine as independent on Monday and ordered the Russian army to launch what Moscow called a peacekeeping operation into the area, upping the ante in a crisis the West fears could unleash a major war.

Footage of Russian troops and tanks in Donetsk, in eastern Ukraine, has been shared on social media by Ukrainian lawmaker Lisa Yasko.

I guess when I think peacekeepers I don't think invasion of course if President Vladimir Putin is going to be more aggressive then this is nothing more than a pretext. Perhaps more troops are coming.

With the administration we have in the White House right now, I don't have great faith that they can de-escalate tensions. If I believe some of the posts on Instapundit during the day on Monday - President's Day - that this was something that was created by them when they took office.

Let's go Brandon already has a foreign affairs/military record and it's just not good. Also from what I see on Instapundit sending Vice President Kamala Harris to Europe didn't quite work out the right way.

Tucker: When will Joe Bran....Biden stop talking about Russia

[VIDEO] Tucker Carlson's monologue from his program last night discusses the Russia-Ukraine situation. In 2014 Russia effective annexed a part of Ukraine called Crimea and it seems Russia isn't done.

So who's answering that early morning phone call over this, well I already said his name. Let's go Brandon

You know I could be worried since we're confronting another nuclear power so any potential military action could result in annihilation. However, with what's going on in Canada and other issues such as high gas prices, supply chain issues or even inflation it seems the President's attention is on a possibly volatile situation. What I didn't know is that there was supposed to be an invasion on the 16th. It didn't happen hell the person who announced it was displaying his own Ukrainian humor. Of course if this invasion happened then it wouldn't be a joke then.

Our press treated this as credible. And then why would any invading nation or even one that's likely to be the subject of an invasion announce when it would happen. And did the President of Ukraine just outclassed the American media?

O'Reilly: Why Russia won't invade Ukraine

[VIDEO] Well aside from President Joe Biden going off on a FOX News reporter yesterday the current concern could be growing tension with Russia over the activities near Ukraine. We could be involved in a military conflict with Russia which is a NUCLEAR power. That would be very scary although usally cooler heads prevail and hopefully that cooler head is Russian President Vladimir Putin. I'm not sure President Biden or anyone around him has a very cool head....

Well Bill O'Reilly analyzes the situation around Ukraine. He doesn't think Russia will invade Ukraine. We're still in difficult times, however, I hope for the best!

ABC 7 Chicago: US, UK issue joint warning on Russian hackers

We depend on our wireless routers but now we learn that they have their own security risks. More Russian hacking:
The two governments said the operations, which allegedly involve planting malware on internet routers and other equipment, could also lay the foundation for future offensive cyberattacks.

A joint statement Monday by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the FBI and the UK's National Cyber Security Centre says the targets include public and private internet equipment, but provides no details.

A companion technical alert says both nations have "high confidence" in the finding. It adds that state-sponsored Russian cyber-meddling has been reported by multiple sources since 2015. The alert urges affected companies and public sector organizations to take action to harden poorly-secured devices, but cites just one specific product. Russian hackers are trying to gain access to the devices that control the flow of internet traffic, the US and UK warned Monday in an alert for organizations and individuals worldwide.
More things to worry about in the world!

CBS News: How did Russia respond to the airstrikes in Syria?

[VIDEO] As I focus on sports entertainment and railcams (including one that has recently been deleted with no archival footage available) a military action took place yesterday in Syria. America, Great Britain, and France engaged in airstrikes that targeted Syrian chemical weapons over fears that they used them in their continuing civil war. Remember last year, President Trump also ordered airstrikes for roughly the same reason.

What's the worry now Russia, has a presence in Syria. I need to do more research as far as whether or not they're attempting to back the President Dictator Bashar Al-Asad. Anyway, Russia is a nuclear power and with charges of them meddling in an American election they seem to be attempting to stage a comeback on the world stage.

Just think over 25 years ago the former superpower known as the former Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR or Soviet Union or even CCCP in Russian Cryllic) was a dying entity. Little did many of us know at the time. And living in the reality not of a nuclear power Soviet Union, but it's immediate successor the Russian Federation had often been seen as a weak nation that just so happen to have a nuclear stockpile. Mikhail Gorbachev had been replaced by Boris Yeltsin and President Yeltsin seems like such a likeable jovial politician even if my perception was of his own alcoholism.

Today who's the Russian menace Vladimir Putin, the current president there. He used to be a KGB agent, and he showing why we don't want to mess with the KGB. Of course the Soviet Union is dead with the KGB, however the mentality remains. Putin may not entirely have the bells & whistles of a superpower, however, the aspirations are there.

Let's seriously hope that the Syrian situation doesn't escalate and the world doesn't have to worry about an old fashioned Cold War between USA and Russia.

Get a load of this tweet about Assange...

Admitedly wikileaks and +Julian Assange are getting increased attention these days. Assange and that organization has always been around in someway, to be honest I've rarely paid much attention. At the same time his organization was able to influence the 2016 election and even better cleared up the thinking of a certain circle.

BTW, I've seen his interview with Sean Hannity, anti-corruption he says. Does anyone this he's exposed this with the Democrats and Secretary Hillary Clinton?

Also this was a good tweet by the Libertarian Party.

So what's going on over there in the Ukraine???

Sometimes I wish I knew something about cartography. I could create a visual aid illustrating Russian movements into the Ukrainian region of Crimea. Crimea is bounded on this map provided between the Black Sea and Sea of Azov.

The Urkaine is a former Soviet republic that became independent with the breakup of the former Soviet Union. Also on the map provided I learned for the first time that Chernobyl is actually located within that nation's borders.

Anyway, we're learning that there's some instability occurring in that nation. A government was essentially overthrown although that government still claims that they're the rightful regime. While a new regime is trying very hard to defend against a Russian incursion who's stated purpose is to protect Russian citizens within the Ukraine.

It's bascially decided that Russian President Vladimir Putin seems to behave like a thug in the long line of Russian autocrats, I'm concerned that it could get ugly. In fact a Canadian Foreign Minister referred to Russia's recent campaign as akin to the Nazi's invading the Sudetenland region of Czechoslovakia.

We see that President Obama is interested in this development as he has made comments condemning Russia. It seems he had a very cool relationship with his fellow head of state in President Putin. So who knows if Obama's word will have an effect on the situation.

Here's hoping this situation doesn't develop to be much uglier than it seems to be so far.
