National Review: How Minnesota Lost Its Mind

[VIDEO] Rich Lowry talks about Minnesota being a very liberal state and has become a hotbed of radical progressive and far-left activity. Also discussing the current politicians such as Gov. Tim Walz - whom as a result of the emerging Somali financial fraud scandal was forced to abandon his bid for a third term as MN Governor.

Also the very feckless Mayor of Minneapolis - Jacob Frey. Lowry notes incredulously that he's actually a moderate who's at odds with a very progressive and far-left city council. He seems to like to virtue signal - and he was heavy on it in 2020 after what happened to George Floyd in his city - it seems evident that even these radicals still can't stand him.

Lowry seems to think things could be even crazier. I'd rather hope not and there's a segment of the electorate that's sick of this non-sense and vote for someone who will put an end to it.

Mark Dice: A woke thanksgiving

[VIDEO] On the same vein from last nite's post Mark Dice this time takes on the subject of "woke" Thanksgiving. The references to the colonizer and racist origins of this most wonderful and festive holiday. Deconstructing the historic notions of Thanksgiving that most of us at a certain age had been taught as early as grammar errr....grade school.

Ben Shapiro watches woke Thanksgiving TikToks

[VIDEO] Thanksgiving is one of those American traditions or holidays that are under attack by the American left. Basically the narrative of the American Indi.....Indigenous American (honestly I like that better) feast with the English Pilgrams have often been deconstructed. It becomes a story not of Thanksgiving but of Thankstaking and how the Europeans came to take over the land that was basically held by the Indigenous peoples of the New World.

Well there are TikToks about European colonization of the Americas. One TikTok illustrates how the Aztecs thought the Spanish smelled back which quickly becomes Europeans didn't bathe at all. And Ben Shapiro discusses the concepts of public baths in ancient Rome and of course the ancient Aztecs engaging in human sacrifice.

How did TikTok become such a cesspool of thought that inspired a twitter account noting the leftist insanity that are being posted on that social media site.

FOX News: Activists erupt at AOC, calling her a coward

[VIDEO] Tucker Carlson talked about this on his program last nite. AOC's constituents are upset with her because they believe she's part of the establishment. The activists are yelling at her during a meeting chiding her for her support for the conducting the War in Ukraine where she ought to be against the conflict.

AOC may have been seen as an outsider ousting years ago a longtime incument, however, this is the price to pay to being a public official. You do something that goes against the image you project and expect people - whom she called rude - to say something about it.

ALSO, this is kind of what she and other so-called progressive politicians want. She wants disruptions like this people yelling and screaming about issues they care about. She just doesn't want that energy directed at her....

Timcast IRL: People flee cities en mass as woke liberals & corporations destroy cities

[VIDEO] I haven't fully watched this video, however, as it starts the discussion is very interesting. Discussing Dave Chappelle standing up for his small town and the businesses within. And then we start talking about issues of high crime in our cities in part due to the policies of progressive politicians.

Tucker: This is shocking

[VIDEO] The question to ask as you watch this monologue from Tucker Carlson Tonight is why are these progressive liberal left Democrat politician seem to believe that the criminals are victims? Why are they turning America into a lawless land? Why is it their unwilling to prevent assaults, robberies, thefts, or even homicides? Why do they think the American people would willingly go for this?

Most importantly are Republicans running against this?

Gov. Youngkin vows to fight 'ludicrous' law tying Virginia to California’s gas-vehicle ban

[VIDEO] This aired on Tucker Carlson Tonite Tuesday nite. Basically Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis isn't the only Governor fighting against the lack of common sense progressive policies.

Believe it or not Democrats had dominated the state gov't of Virginia until Republicans swept the executive and legislative branches. And one of their acts was to adopt environmental standards similar to California's.

Tucker speaking with Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin. Imagine as is shown in the above clip charging stations for electric vehicles - and bear in mind California wants fossil fuel vehicles eliminated from their roads by 2035 - and these charging states are surrounding by homeless people. Oh I'm sorry unhoused individuals....

Anyway we're more concerned about climate change than potentially mentally ill people who are legit unable to adequately take care of themselves. And also could potentially harm others. There is a disconnect from what really matters in a society isn't it?

Stossel: Why do progressives ruin cities?

[VIDEO] John Stossel speaks with former San Francisco progressive and author Michael Shellenberger who can no longer subscribe to the "progressive" policies that are starting to ruin the very nice city of San Francisco, California. Basically progressive policies are designed to not punish those individuals or groups that they believe are victims. That means if a "victimized" group is engaging in outright shoplifting then authorities can choose not to keep them in custody. Or if a homeless person is in public getting high as he lives on the streets there will be lax enforcement against that. It leads to this idea of a progressive ruining a city...

O'Reilly: The agenda behind Black victimhood

[VIDEO] I'm sure that there will be more to be said about the pandemic and the situation in Afghanistan right now it's a good time to switch gears.

We're going to hit up Bill O'Reilly again tonite by looking at his discussion on No Spin News with Blaze host Jason Whitlock. Whitlock is known as a sports guy for the most part, however, he has been known in recent years to appear primarily on right wing programming on FOX News and in this case on The First with Bill O'Reilly. They discuss the agenda of Black victimhood.

Some things I took away from the discussion. The left in this country wants to define Black people as nothing more than victims of a very flawed American experiment. Any Black accomplishments big or small are often dismissed so that Blacks can remain victims of America. The left wants Blacks to be victims to portray America as a very racist and oppressive nation and force fundamental changes to traditional America - socialism perhaps.

Another great point by Whitlock. Hip-hop/rap music is less about victimhood - the blues could be about victimhood but that's not a popular genre - it's about action. In Whitlock's words a pursuit of a financial rewards for victimizing someone else, well I mean often hip-hop/rap in some cases often talk about criminal activity. Most songs are never about oh woe is me.

When it comes to victimhood most of the action are on social media. If you don't virtue signal on social media then there can be a social price to be paid for your non-adherence to the orthodoxy of victimhood. In Whitlock's observation what works well on social media doesn't always work in the real world on the streets.

O'Reilly: 12 American cities ruined by progressive leadership

[VIDEO] Twelve American cities ruined by P.L.L. Democrat leadership. A leadership promoting policies that prove destructive for quality of life in their cities. Many of those policies are well intended perhaps righting historic wrongs for minorities, making a criminal justice system more equitable, creating policies for the environment, trying to slow down climate change, perhaps even a more equitable economic policy, on & on.

Cities like Chicago, Washington, New York, Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Atlanta, etc. All of those cities have P.L.L leadership and all of those cities and then some named by Bill O'Reilly in thee above video have been suffering from increased crime, homelessness, even economic issues due to those policies I named above.

I suppose we can link this to Larry Elder and his run in the recall for Governor of California. California as a whole is a progressive paradise that really needs to reverse course and soon. Perhaps someone in California needs to be the alternative to those in power who swear by progressivism.

If that's true in California it's true in other states and certainly in cities in the rest of the nation outside of California.

I wonder how many in Chicago is craving common sense at city hall right now!

O'Reilly: 3 Pillars of Progressivism

[VIDEO] Bill O'Reilly takes on the subject of the three pillars of progressivism which are America is a racist nation, climate change, and income inequality. Basically America is bad, we need to address climate change or we're all dead, and it's not fair that white people are generally wealthier than people of color.

I've been wanting to use an earlier series of clips where O'Reilly talks about what these progressives or as I've begun calling this faction the rabid left or the progressive liberals. He basically hints at this in this video, but the progressives want to see the economy fail. They want a situation like the Great Depression or even the so-called Great Recession. That means they can push through socialism.

If they address income inequality they can address the unfairness of having a decent income means freedom. It affords the ability to acquire resources, you can go where you want to go or do what you want to do. Well, sadly the rabid left glosses over the idea of freedom and especially the idea that you can progressively earn more money whether working for someone else or being self-employed. Freedom isn't what they want the ultimate goal is central planning, control individual lives. Perhaps even keep you in your place.

Well to take care of freedom you can take away the individual rights that exist in the US Constitution since well it was written by a bunch of old & dead racist & misogynist white men. That document doesn't matter it's toilet tissue

In order to address climate change that means gov't has to take control of the economy. Insure that any economic activity doesn't in anyway have any harmful effect on the environment. Just consider the Keystone Pipeline, oh yeah well the people who could've helped to build that will have to learn to code. They'll find something else to do to make a living but that project is going to hurt the environment and we just can't have that. Climate change is the biggest issue of our day and you must be on board for this Green New Deal.

Income inequality, I have to marinate on that for a second. Well it's another thing to rail against. Some people get discretionary income while others don't. Is it because of racism? Or perhaps as stated earlier it's a means to address income inequality insures that gov't will start to control people's lives because discretionary income is power and is unfair.

When you see what all of this leads to, hopefully some of you are concerned about what these progressives want. We should be concerned about the loss of freedoms and especially losing the ability to make better money during the course of your productive life.

Perhaps I'll share some of those earlier videos of Bill O'Reilly discussing the push for socialism.

Real white privilege

I have to share this from Glenn Reynolds at Instapundit from October 2nd: "When social justice is privileged white people destroying Black neighborhoods"

That post links to a N.Y. Times piece from a member of their editorial board with the subtitle: "'Insurrectionary anarchists' have been protesting for racial justice all summer. Some Black leaders wish they would go home."

Allow me to excerpt:

That’s the thing about “insurrectionary anarchists.” They make fickle allies. If they help you get into power, they will try to oust you the following day, since power is what they are against. Many of them don’t even vote. They are experts at unraveling an old order but considerably less skilled at building a new one. That’s why, even after more than 100 days of protest in Portland, activists do not agree on a set of common policy goals.

Even some anarchists admit as much.

“We are not sure if the socialist, communist, democratic or even anarchist utopia is possible,” a voice on “The Ex-Worker” podcast intones. “Rather, some insurrectionary anarchists believe that the meaning of being an anarchist lies in the struggle itself and what that struggle reveals.”

In other words, it’s not really about George Floyd or Black lives, but insurrection for insurrection’s sake.

So they don't know what they want. They want mayhem and chaos. They want to tear down statues because many of them - and I'm not talking about the Confederate statues - represent the best of America. They may attack politicians who are sympathetic to BLM because they represent the system, it doesn't matter if these are progressives who are well meaning but just choosing to pander as a safe bet.

And why I say real white privilege check out this article out of NY. Rioting is the voice of the unheard, how unheard are you if you have privilege? Are the unheard the people who's city you're choosing to destroy to fill some empty need?

It sure is white privilege to say "fcuk the police" when you live in a nice community of your own, especially if it's protected by an effective police department. Meanwhile you leave those communities of folks you purport to fight for vulnerable. Beware of your allies, they may not have your best interests at heart.

BTW, back to the NY Times piece. They discuss the work of one Jeremy Lee Quinn who actually works in media though furloughed. He's been looking at these so-called "insurrectory anarachists" he's been marching with them. He's noting the weirdness and has documented them on his own site at Public Report. So I would like very much to check out his work in the near future.

Stossel: Minneapolis a progressive "paradise"

[VIDEO] All the wonderful things Minneapolis progressives have done for their low-income minority communities. Raising the minimum wage, rent control, housing subsidies, and abolish police (I just had to add that). All those things - the last one was after the George Floyd unrest - and it seems not to matter. Are these so-called progressive policies helping?

This is what former ABC 20/20 correspondent John Stossel explores.
