Timcast: Zuckerberg Launches TWITTER KILLER Threads And INSTANTLY Begins Censoring Conservatives, 23M Sign Up

[VIDEO] Well, what do you think of Threads and I'm on it.

Nifty idea to combine it with Instagram although I might agree that it should be attached to Instagram. I feel as if Facebook was a better idea. Although for a so-called Twitter killer perhaps Facebook is a different experience compared to Instagram.

So Tim Poll takes over 20 mins to discuss Threads and no surprise they're censoring conservatives. I'm sure I'll see posts out there regarding that. Unfortunately big tech - saving for Twitter currently - has a history of censorship.

Take away conservatives vs progressive liberals. They censored over the pandemic. They censor over radical gender theory such as pronouns or even whether or not anyone can choose their gender. Of course they censor over certain ideas. Hell who knows they may even censor the Chicken and the egg riddle.

Now Pool says Threads is awful. What do you think? For me it's too early to tell. I don't think I'm giving up Twitter yet.

Care to follow me on Threads? (@lbj79us)

Also I want the accounts that they wrongfully disabled back and wasn't able to challenge due the pandemic. Damn you Meta, Facebook, & Instagram!

ABL: Two Twitter execs QUIT over the 'What is a Woman' documentary?

[VIDEO] I mentioned this on Friday and indeed Elon Musk put this documentary on his page. Although the owner of Tesla & Space X bought Twitter last fall, there are elements within his company that could still cause some problems. And interesting still this is even after massive layoffs at the social network.

What is a Woman is a great documentary which takes aim at the radical gender ideology that it seems is being spread to minors. There were two clips that were of scrutiny.

Timcast IRL: Wokeism is backfiring on the elites

[VIDEO] Tim Pool has a discussion with former Trump advisor Steve Bannon and Charlie Kirk and James Lindsey about social media manipulation. And the ways the national security state are using social media algorithms.

Timcast: Elon Musk's companies targeted by federal gov't

[VIDEO] Tim Pool on his IRL podcast discusses the retaliation against Elon Musk thanks to his release of information regarding the DNC and Biden campaign's collusion to censor right wing speech on his Twitter platform. Of course, back in 2020 Twitter was a publicly traded company before Musk took the platform private in 2022.

#Tucker: Twitter was permanently censoring users at the request of the DNC and Biden campaign

[VIDEO] I don't know if you will call it a leak if the person sharing this information was doing so publicly on their platform. However earlier today Elon Musk who now owns Twitter shared information with regards to censorship during the 2020 presidential election. Twitter employees were dedicated to insuring Donald Trump lost his bid for re-election, and doing the bidding of the Biden/Harris campaign and the Democrat Party.

You can check it out here if you don't want to just believe the words of Tucker Carlson.

'Uncle Tom' age-restricted

I wanted to share this Friday and got a bid sidetracked with the Biden got coronavirus news....

I shared the Uncle Tom documentary earlier this week and I took a snapshot of the embed on this blog seeing that it was age restricted. Then I saw a few other warnings on the video and the idea is to discourage anyone from wanting to view this content.

Let me just say it for the record, why is YouTube censoring Uncle Tom? One could start with the epithet "Uncle Tom" which is used against Black conservatives especially or those who just go against the mainstream opinion of Black America.

However, is it simply that someone out there doesn't want the Black conservative story to be told in any way? What I've been seeing out there since the 2020 presidential race there is a divide in Black America and it's based on gender Black males voted for Trump and Black females opted for Biden. Interesting trend especially noted in this documentary.

If you're interested in the film when you go to my original post just click through the embed itself or find [VIDEO] and click through there for your convenience. Strange, but it seems someone out there wants this suppressed.

CNBC: Twitter shares close up 27% after Elon Musk takes 9% stake in social media company

This was the breaking news for today Elon Musk known for sending his own private rockets into space and his own electric automotive company has become the largest shareholder in the social media site Twitter. I wonder what this means in the long run. For example will Twitter become more committed to free speech principles.

CNBC:

Outspoken Tesla CEO Elon Musk purchased a giant stake in Twitter that makes him the largest outside shareholder in the social media stock, not long after criticizing the company for what he said was its failure to uphold the tenets of free speech.

Musk owns 73,486,938 shares of Twitter, which represents a 9.2% passive stake in the company, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission 13G filing released Monday. The stake is worth $2.89 billion, based Twitter’s closing price Friday.

The purchase comes less than two weeks after Musk criticized the company, polling people on Twitter about whether it adheres to free speech principles. “Given that Twitter serves as the de facto public town square, failing to adhere to free speech principles fundamentally undermines democracy,” Musk tweeted. “What should be done?”

Late last month, Musk also said he was considering building a new social media platform.

Also:

While it is classified as a passive stake, investors were bidding shares higher on the chance this could lead to something more. Twitter stock surged more than 27%.

“Musk could try to take a more aggressive stance here on Twitter,” Wedbush analyst Dan Ives said Monday on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.” “This eventually could lead to some sort of buyout.”

“This makes sense given what Musk has at least been talking about, at least from a social media perspective,” Ives said.
Want to see the conservative side of this news check out Instapundit. The wokies might not like Mr. Musk although I don't characterize him as a committed conservative. However, after hearing about censorship on social media - even going through my own relatively minor episode at the end of 2020 - there needs to be a shakeup in that space.

New social media like President Trump's Truth Social is a great start for example. However, who holds the most attention a site like Twitter can that place be redeemed to be a great place for a great flow of new ideas.

Timcast: Neary 3000 doctors DEMAND spotify CANCEL Joe Rogan

[VIDEO] Why is this the case? Because of his interview with a Dr.  Robert Malone who discusses the mass formation psychosis theory which many seem to consider anti-vax misinformation.

You can see that discussion that Tim Pool notes in the video below. I already posted it here earlier this month. [VIDEO]

Just to clear the air. I'm not anti-vax, however, there is plenty of dis-information going on with both sides as far as this pandemic. The worst part of this misinformation is that one side seems hell-bent on burying any information that they don't like or contradicts their own notions of this pandemic.

Why not share the information from Rogan on mass formation psychosis. I do think the misinformation that's out there is designed to freak out the public. That not only goes for the "virtual-signalers" who are all about masking up, social distancing, or even those who on social media like to advertise that they're vaxed. I would also throw in those people who are anti-vax.

A lot of info on both sides and only sharing info that supports their own agenda. I want to get out of this pandemic, however, I think both sides are making this crisis worse.

Mark Dice interviews the CEO of Gab

[VIDEO] Gab is considered a Twitter alternative and in reality as Andrew Torba describes it a fusion of Twitter and FB with a YouTube alternative. Unlike Parler which was taken down not long after the riot on Capitol Hill earlier in January, Gab remains online due to Torba's work to keep their operation on their own servers.

While I am on Gab, one complaint about them is certainly that their service isn't particularly responsive. I tried to recover my password and waited quite a while to get the email.

The thing about "big tech" FB, Twitter, and even YouTube is that you get used to their interfaces. They're the gold standard and perhaps it'll take a minute for Gab to catch up.

Of course for the moment if you believe Torba, they're increasingly the recipients of the exodus of many right-leaning or evangelical users from "big tech". This roughly 30 min interview with Mark Dice is eye-opening.

2nd City Cop blog is history for now

I found this out through a local crime blog CWB Chicago. Over the weekend 2nd City Cop written by a police officer(s) went off line and is in restricted mode. Over at yet another Chicago crime site HeyJackass we see a letter left to their readership by 2nd City Cop. Now it has me concerned, as they're concerned about the issues of "Big Tech".

Liberal Hivemind: The PURGE BEGINS As Tech Companies Start BANNING Conservatives In DROVES

[VIDEO] So Liberal Hivemind discusses President Trump's permanent ban from Twitter and its effects going forward. And yes I'm posting this a bit earlier than usual, but then why not.

Anyway the scariest part of this purge discussed by a number of commentators, Mark Dice commented on this in a video on Saturday morning, that "progressive liberal" activists extremists will go much further. If right leaning people decided to go ahead and leave the major social media companies then they'll find other places. The extremists will make sure there is no where else for people with opposing points of view to go.

In other words if we don't like you, you will be silenced. Inciting violence is one thing as Trump had been accused of (not that I support this BTW), however, it's another to silence voices who don't incite violence but espouse an opposing point of view is another.

It leads to a lament I've had, social media used to be fun. You showed pictures of yourself enjoying a hobby, you showed pics of your pets, you talk about a movie, you share your own thoughts and feelings. Social media has increasingly become more political when sites such as YouTube, fb, Twitter, ig, etc were started in good fun. Now, social media is increasingly serious and political. These sites which I have enjoyed once they became a thing have become no fun.

I still plan to post something at 11:30 PM, though I'm thinking I still have one more in me today.

I've been locked out of twitter part 2

Here's another screenshot it's a strange charge, but I suppose they can't just say they wanted to limited distribution of a link they don't like.

What I saw in my e-mail not long after I sent my tweet this afternoon. And then when I sent my appeal hours later - I sent this to some people who are following me on twitter and I didn't consider attempting an appeal - I see this after submitting my appeal to twitter.

That link was to the article about Benford's Law with regards to Biden's vote in last week's election. Also pay attention to the past part in the bottom. If you'd rather just delete your tweet, I can cancel my appeal. Hmmmm....

What did I tweet? How is it a "privately produced/distributed intimate media"? I didn't share a video or even very tawdry text messages.

This has been a most interesting adventure in twitterland. Social media was a lot of fun, now it's very serious. It's a shame really.

Meanwhile if nothing else perhaps by 1:00 AM my Twitter will be good to go and I'll be ready to tweet what I saw on Monday Nite Raw tomorrow nite.

Also I'm on Parler feel free to follow me there @levois just like on twitter.

I've been locked out of twitter!

All I had to do to incur this result was to share this article about how Joe Biden's votes violates the mathematical Benford's Law. Big tech don't want this to get out to even be slapped down by the trolls!

It's been discussed on Instapundit as well.

Blue Collar Logic: Our Apologies For Breaking The Rules

[VIDEO] The video that I had posted a while back of those two doctors in California discussing the data surrounding the coronavirus lockdown out there has largely been purged from the YouTube platform including the Blue Collar Logic channel. We see Jason's apology to YouTube viewers for the non-existent violation of the community rules that caused that video to be deleted.

Tucker Carlson: Big Tech censors dissent over coronavirus lockdowns

[VIDEO] I'm sorry to say I rarely watch Tucker Carlson on FOX News these days.

The last few days I've been sharing a variety of information regarding this pandemic. Many of the information presented mainly in videos have been critical of the measures taken to combat this virus.

The realest video has been from the two doctors from California - mentioned in the above video - who openly wondered if the usage of the word safe was more about control. They looked at the data and they concluded why are there lockdowns? Why are businesses shut down? Why are we choosing to quarantine the healthy as opposed to quarantining the ill?

So in this segment that aired last nite on Tucker Carlson Tonight we see another issue. Are the tech companies mainly YouTube and Facebook censoring any information regarding this pandemic that are contrary to the agenda?

We see there are protests to these lockdowns in a number of states around the nation. In Illinois two state representatives from downstate have launched lawsuits against Gov. J.B. Pritzker's extended stay-at-home order. Incidentally the first lawsuit resulted in an injunction that affected only the state representative that filed the suit.

Understandably people are starting to get restless after over a month of lockdowns designed to stem the spread of this highly infectious disease. The crisis were facing is unprecedented and we're in uncertain times. We're also worried about multiple waves of this virus over time and if we're able to handle it ultimately it's also being said that it won't just go away.

Meanwhile why not discuss whether or not the data may not justify continuing these many lockdowns around the nation? Why not discuss the many policy ramifications of what we're doing with this pandemic? And especially important right now is discussing the economic effects of shutting down the economy?

Also as an aside since in some of this information it's being discussed that many coronavirus deaths really had little to do with the virus. It's said certain racial groups are affected by this and yet to discuss those underlying conditions are problematic for some. Why is that problematic to talk about these often preventable underlying conditions?
