I've not been in tune with what's going on in Canadian politics other than the resignation of Justin Trudeau as the Prime Minister of Canada and the installation of Mark Carney who may well be the new Prime Minister in his own right - depending upon how Canada's Liberal Party does in the House of Commons.
There were some high hopes for the Conservative Party of Canada's leader Pierre Poilievre, who was thought to have his chance as Canada's PM. It was more likely if Trudeau had remained in office.
However, what's cited by REP and others who are looking at Canada is perhaps the current Trump presidency. And Poilivre was said to have made his own blunders once Trump had gotten into office. It was even said that Carney probably could get along with President Trump much better than Poilievre was able to himself.
Either way later today we'll find out whether the Liberals can defeat the Conservatives today.

Canada as part of the United States and an American purchase of the Danish territory of Greenland. Greenland would be primarily purchase for U.S. nat'l security reasons. And well Canada, we did try to take them over during the War of 1812.
Also during the War of 1812, the U.S. capital city was burned to the ground by the enemy - the British Empire whom we had broke away after 1776.
Anyway, Canada is having their own problems. The soon to be former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will be stepping down as due to the political pressure from his own Liberal Party they're feeling the pressure of the incoming Presidency of Donald Trump.
I would like the idea of an American controlled Canada. To go to Montreal or Toronto or Vancouver. Even to go up to Edmonton and Calgary and not need a passport. Nice.
And what about getting control of the Panama Canal? One of the crowning achievements of the late President Jimmy Carter (who passed away last year before New Year's) was returning the canal to the Republic of Panama. I could definitely see this as a solid nat'l security move.
[VIDEO] Beck has always been out there since I started watching his old FOX News program to even the clips of him I share from YouTube. He's talking about the Great Reset and ESG scores or social credit. Connecting it with the emergency powers in Canada that seems financially comprehensive in some ways. Basically if you support in anyway groups that say a gov't or perhaps a corporation doesn't like then they can make life very difficult for you.
It can affect who you do business with, your livelihood, or even your personal relationships. A scary conspiration I'd say. One connection to make is this Great Reset all about social credit scores.
[VIDEO] We're visiting with Tim Pool today again with his report on what's going on in Canada in one of his segments from yesterday. The Trudeau gov't in Canada is using emergency powers in response to the ongoing Canadian trucker convoy protest. In other words the gov't is messing with their money.
It's a bit ironic since many Canadian provinces I'm seeing are letting go of their pandemic restrictions. No more masks, no more vax mandates, etc. While it seems the federal gov't of Canada seems to be for the moment doubling down on their pandemic response to the whole nation.
An ongoing thing it seems a continuing conflict between those who say it's time to live with coronavirus and those who still seem intent on maintaining restrictions. Using vax status as a means to keep anyone from using public accomodations.
[VIDEO] The Prime Minister of Canada has been taking a bit of a beating with tuckers essentially taking over Canada's capital city since last weekend. This is essentially a protest of the ongoing pandemic response by the Canadian gov't. It should be noted that truckers have shut down the border between Canada and U.S.A. in the vicinity of Montana.
Another fun fact that while the truckers honk against the mandates of the Canadian gov't, it should be noted that it came out in the past week that Prime Minister Trudeau has tested positive for coronavirus. This is although he is vaccinated and has been noted in a variety of sources vaccines are said to keep you from getting very sick, however, it doesn't exactly prevent you from getting infected with coronavirus.

[VIDEO] One of my favorite YouTubers on IG took aim at Tucker Carlson's segment on a BLM Utah chapter (see the post below) who stated that the American flag is a racist symbol on another nite Tucker takes aim at burning churches in Canada.
I wrote a tweet mentioning Black churches and deleted it believing it was in poor taste. Now a burning Black church would get our attention here in America as it could be considered a hate crime. Historically targeting a Black church has been cloaked in racist intention.
Now however when we talk about burning churches in Canada no less - our friendly personable neighborhoods in the Great White North - Tucker takes a look at the political implications. And the tweet about Black churches was replaced by this.

Ahh, this is what it's about is it. The so-called - and by myself anyway - progressive left liberals don't like organized religion. Actually they don't like Christianity as it represents "whiteness". I've ran into a few online no less who believes burning a church is OK.
Tucker shows tweets from a few in Canada's gov't who seem generally supportive of this destruction. One tweet came from a member of a Canadian civil liberties group who says burn it all down (tweet has since been taken down and account private). I couldn't find yet the other tweet mentioned in the above video from Gerald Butts who Tucker calls a close confidant to Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, however this one is even better.
There is no legitimate justification for destroying churches. Freedom of religion is guaranteed under the UN Declaration on Human Rights. Moreover, arson puts firefighters at risk. And during wildfire season, setting fires endangers public safety for entire regions.

Wait! I got some research to do. These destroyed churches or Indigenous Canadian churhes. So these arsonists are going to these indigenous communities (think either American Indian or Native American - or the very first Americans from whom Europeans stole the new world from) are destroying these churches.
And the best that Butts can offer is it's understandable that someone would want to burn a church? Really? Aren't the progressive left liberals concerned about people's rights? Perhaps they're not concerned about the right to worship as they please.
Also the response by the Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau was to only say this wasn't the way to go. Which is hardly a strong condemnation.
This seems like "wokeness" run amok, however, I don't have much information to go on. As a man who rarely attends church services anyway I believe people have the right to worship as they please and strongly condemn any arson on a religious structure. This should be condemned as an other God-given right is threatened.
[VIDEO] There is plenty of contradiction over the stats for this pandemic. We might attack Texas and Florida for example for further easing restrictions such as full capacity and eliminating mask mandates while Illinois and others maintain those mitigation efforts. We might say Texas and Florida's cases go up although as discussed in this Tim Pool podcast snippet, cases are going up in places like California and New York where they maintain their mitigation restrictions while Texas and Florida opened up and things are going in the opposite direction.
Now these protests against the lockdowns should be no surprise. Especially in Europe as I've shared some posts about them, however, Canada there has been some issues up there. A video went viral where people in a church chased away authorities. It's easy for me to say it's time to ease some of these restrictions, but right now I'm not in the hot seat...

In The Lemon, director Stuart Browning shows how today's single-payer health care initiatives have a lot in common with the failed economic systems of eastern Europe. A system without competition and profits will lead to tight government control, shortages and medical rationing.
On another note I plan to see Michael Moore's new film Sicko about the American health care system. I can dismiss this movie as a cheerleader for a system not much different than the Canadian health care system, but I think I'm going to just see what Moore presents and go from there. I promise to write a movie review here on this blog. It could go to The Movie Cabinet, but the movie will be of a mostly advocate and political nature so I'll speak on it here.
On the Fence films has made the Canadian health care system a target. This is not the first video they made on this.
So let's see a woman was so sick and had constant infections that she had to had her bladder removed. Why? Well according to this video it didn't need to happen she kept getting wait listed for treatment.
Her mother got to work on her behalf. Wrote letters, made phone calls, even offered to pay for her daughter's treatment. Well Canadians weren't allowed to pay for their treatment apparently.
Her mother went to her parliamentary representative for help and they took her letter to the Minister of Health. That didn't do much good, though. Apparently it was more important to help a man get a sex change operation before they could help a woman with a serious medical condition.
Canadians can say that their health care system isn't a failure but I just have to look at this on the individual level and looking at some of these stories something is wrong. I hope we don't have a system where a person with a serious medical problem doesn't immediately get the treatment they need.

A man waits to be examined for a brain tumor only to be delayed and finally he goes through a "medical broker" and is able to recieve immediate treatment in Buffalo, New York. Finally he was examined in New York was found to have a brain tumor and he is seeking to get some of his money back from the government of the province of Ontario.
Dead Meat is from Evan Coyne Maloney's (Brain Terminal) film company On The Fence Films. The film takes aim at Canada's government run health care system. Stories about the long wait for a surgery from necks, hips, cataracts, and so on are featured. It is also said that a human can't get health insurance but a pet can get health insurance in Canada.
I can't even imagine. You wait years for surgery that your very life depends on. You're unable to move, see, or it might be cancer or a heart bypass we're talking about here. You have to wait years for it. That system isn't as great as it is made out to be. Why should pets get better and faster care than humans? Why should pets have a diversity of options when it comes to treatment?
There will be a feature length film coming in 2006. This should prove to be interesting.
