O'Reilly Interviews Beck: Media, Cities, and the American Story

I haven't shared an edition of Bill O'Reilly's new podcast We'll Do It Live yet and that changed tonight. The latest podcast features of conversation with Glenn Beck. These two veterans of the media and commentary scene don't hold back. They dive deep into where our country stands—progressivism, communism's creep, the media's failures, and what it’ll take to steer America back on course. If you're concerned about the direction of cities like New York, Chicago, or the nation as a whole, this one's for you.

Immigration History Isn’t a Blank Check: Shapiro on America’s Pauses

Ben Shapiro went live on Tuesday (see my earlier post on the SCOTUS ruling) after the US Supreme Court ruling on birthright citizenship. On Wednesday on his latest podcast he further breaks down the immigration trends in American history. Let's look at what he said.

Watch the episode here: [VIDEO]

The episode reacts directly to the Supreme Court’s June 30, 2026 decision striking down President Trump’s executive order that sought to limit birthright citizenship. Shapiro calls the 6-3 ruling a “legal abomination” on constitutional grounds but refuses to treat it as the end of the story. Instead, he walks through the long arc of U.S. immigration policy to show that America has successfully adjusted course before — and can do so again.

Dad Saves America Podcast: Is America Heading Into an Empire Era Like Rome?

In a recent clip from the Dad Saves America podcast, host John Papola sits down with Wilfred Reilly — a Chicago native and political scientist at Kentucky State University — to explore striking parallels between America’s growth and the rise (and potential pitfalls) of ancient Rome.

America is approaching its 250th birthday in 2026, and the conversation around what that means for our national story is heating up.

Trump Turns 80: UFC on the White House Lawn

Yesterday, Flag Day doubled as President Donald Trump's 80th birthday, and he marked it in classic fashion: with high-energy action on the South Lawn of the White House. While the Iran peace framework grabbed headlines (as I noted yesterday), the evening delivered something unforgettable — UFC Freedom 250, a full fight card right at the People's House.

The Spectacle Unfolds

President Trump, alongside First Lady Melania and UFC CEO Dana White, hosted seven mixed martial arts bouts under the lights of a massive temporary arena called "The Claw." Over 4,000 fans packed in for what’s being called the first major professional sporting event on the White House grounds. The crowd sang "Happy Birthday" to the President, and the energy was electric as American fighters went toe-to-toe in the iconic octagon.

Stossel on America's 250th birthday

I hope everyone had a restful Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately, here in Chicago, it was anything but peaceful for many residents. The now-familiar “teen takeovers” returned, bringing chaos, violence, and disruption to parts of the city. These incidents highlight deeper issues that our local leaders need to address seriously — not just with more police presence, but with stronger accountability and cultural changes.

[VIDEOToday, I wanted to share something more uplifting and thought-provoking as we move forward. This powerful video from John Stossel explores what truly makes America great — especially timely as the United States prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday this year (the Semiquincentennial).

In the video, Stossel and his guests — including Ron Paul, Steve Forbes, and others — dive into how liberty, strong property rights, and limited government turned a young nation into the freest and most prosperous in history. Ben Franklin’s famous warning rings especially true today: “We have a republic, if we can keep it.”

Bill O'Reilly: BLM Chapter Believes American Flag Symbolizes Racism

[VIDEO] I can't just show this video without a story about this in case you're not that interested in what O'Reilly says about this story.

In a Facebook post published on the Fourth of July, the Black Lives Matter (BLM) Utah chapter declared the American flag a hate symbol.

“When we Black Americans see this flag we know the person flying it is not safe to be around. When we see this flag we know the person flying it is a racist. When we see this flag we know that the person flying it lives in a different America than we do. When we see this flag, we question your intelligence. We know to avoid you. It is a symbol of hatred,” the statement read.

Lex Scott, founder of Black Lives Matter Utah, said the intention of the inflammatory post was to generate a reaction and show how the flag is being co-opted by extremist groups, The Salt Lake Tribune reported.

“The point of the post was to make everyone uncomfortable,” Scott said. “The American flag is taught to us from birth to represent freedom, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

Scott noted that her sentiments were triggered by the sight of photos depicting members of far-right organization Patriot Front marching through Philadelphia carrying the American flag on the eve of the Fourth of July.

“They’re flying American flags. The Ku Klux Klan is flying American flags. The Proud Boys are flying American flags. They climbed the Capitol for their failed insurrection and were beating police officers with American flags. I have not heard any outrage from Republicans or the right about the use of the American flag as a hate symbol,” Scott said.

Allow to combine this social media post with a tweet from a sitting Member of Congress who referred to America as stolen land and there is only freedom for "white people". The rest of the world is seeing this and laughing at us, we're not together and the way things are going we'll never be together.

Believe it or not all people who fly the stars and stripes aren't racist. Many believe the freedom we have in this nation is for everyone. And any injustice that happens to any American regardless of their ethnicity or race is something that upsets them. And those same Americans who wave the U.S. flag are equally upset when hate groups like the ones mentioned above wave that flag as they don't represent the best of America.

So that fb post which I should screencap as perhaps one day it will be deleted is more shortsighted and inciendiary than particularly thoughtful.

Difference between British Conservatives and American Republicans...

[VIDEO] While American gov't and politics has been derived from the British system over the years this interview with Ben Shapiro and Douglas Murray shows the differences between our two nations. British Conservatives aren't too similar to our Republicans ideology. Murray states there are no litmus test issues for British Conservatives and that Prime Minister Boris Johnson is really a "liberal" conservative.

Although the Prime Minister has the ability to get votes from the opposition party which is a skill Republicans need to develop in America. We have a recall election to come in California and Republicans certainly will need to appeal to Democrats although many Dems find it reprehensible to even vote Republican because reasons.

I suppose the question is how do Republicans make gains in blue states. I'd start with fiscal conservatism as how can a state take care of its people if the state can't pay it's bills. Of course crime and safety is another important issue. But that's not the point of this post.

The point of this post is Britain and America are very different societies indeed.

Why are mobs tearing down American monuments?

[VIDEO] Just as I professed the Andrea Mitchell and Delegate Eleanor Holmes-Norton represented the institutions the mob wants to remake in their own image, these monuments  - regardless of whether or not they represent the Confederacy or the United States itself - are just more things the mob also wants to remake in their own image. We can't have our symbols.

Granted some of our monuments are for very flawed men - and in some cases very flawed and very troubled such as 7th POTUS Andrew Jackson across the street from the White House for many his history is still problematic. What I do see from this mob or perhaps more accurately the SJW mob, they're looking for any excuse to tear down our nation's treasured monuments.

Where will it stop? Another great monologue by Tucker Carlson on his FOX News program.
