Difference between British Conservatives and American Republicans...

[VIDEO] While American gov't and politics has been derived from the British system over the years this interview with Ben Shapiro and Douglas Murray shows the differences between our two nations. British Conservatives aren't too similar to our Republicans ideology. Murray states there are no litmus test issues for British Conservatives and that Prime Minister Boris Johnson is really a "liberal" conservative.

Although the Prime Minister has the ability to get votes from the opposition party which is a skill Republicans need to develop in America. We have a recall election to come in California and Republicans certainly will need to appeal to Democrats although many Dems find it reprehensible to even vote Republican because reasons.

I suppose the question is how do Republicans make gains in blue states. I'd start with fiscal conservatism as how can a state take care of its people if the state can't pay it's bills. Of course crime and safety is another important issue. But that's not the point of this post.

The point of this post is Britain and America are very different societies indeed.
