Matt Walsh: AOC's documentary flops

[VIDEO] The full title to this video from Daily Wire personality Matt Walsh made me LOL it finished with "Should I teach her how to make one?" And who knew she had a documentary?

I think one part of teaching her how to make one is how to promote one. Perhaps a much broader audience than her insular progressive base. The documentary is about "climate change".

Well let's allow Walsh to discuss this further.

Ben Shapiro: California can't take the heat

[VIDEO] Ben Shapiro took himself, his family, and his company Daily Wire out of California and moved to Tennessee & Florida. He discusses the current news which includes rolling blackouts amid a heatwave while Gavin Newsom addresses the crisis in a fleece sweater. And think about the fact that they want to ban all fossil fueled vehicles in the Golden State.

Oh yeah these green policies to fight climate change they're working so well to address the needs of everyday people. Perhaps this was never to serve everyone, but we're seeing the folly of a strict adherence to an ideology. In this case climate change is an ideology.

Stossel: The Greens new target

[VIDEO] Green gov'ts are targeting the usage of fertilizer and cited in the video above from John Stossel are in the Netherlands and Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka's gov't was overthrown by the people who rebelled based on the level of the food supply and protest by farmers in the Netherlands because of gov't regulations could effectively shut down farms. Basically the "Greens" want to limit who farmers who grow food are able to produce their crops.

Environmental activism and adherence to the idea of climate change has some far reaching consequences.

Gov. Youngkin vows to fight 'ludicrous' law tying Virginia to California’s gas-vehicle ban

[VIDEO] This aired on Tucker Carlson Tonite Tuesday nite. Basically Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis isn't the only Governor fighting against the lack of common sense progressive policies.

Believe it or not Democrats had dominated the state gov't of Virginia until Republicans swept the executive and legislative branches. And one of their acts was to adopt environmental standards similar to California's.

Tucker speaking with Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin. Imagine as is shown in the above clip charging stations for electric vehicles - and bear in mind California wants fossil fuel vehicles eliminated from their roads by 2035 - and these charging states are surrounding by homeless people. Oh I'm sorry unhoused individuals....

Anyway we're more concerned about climate change than potentially mentally ill people who are legit unable to adequately take care of themselves. And also could potentially harm others. There is a disconnect from what really matters in a society isn't it?

#Tucker: If the US can't do this, we will be poor

[VIDEO] Tucker Carlson's monologue from last nite. He talks about situations in Sri Lanka - an outright real revolt not like the January 6, 2021 weirdness that the Democrats want to keep blowing up. In Sri Lanka the population realized the folly of gov't policy which has caused the food supply to diminish and made that island nation near India poorer. They wanted farmers to go full organic and not use any fertilizer because that's supposed to be better for the environment but by golly that didn't help the food supply.

I never thought that Tucker would ever discuss ESG scores. He brings it up here, that's a Glenn Beck thing. The information on this is out there, ESG is related to the climate change deal. A nation wants a good ESG score for the purposes of investments in their nation. Of course having a good ESG score leads to some disruptive consequences as we see in Sri Lanka for example.

Tucker also mentions Ghana and South Africa another disruptive consequence of ESGs well power outages. Can't use fossil fuels no coal no petroleum leads to food shortages and the inability of the power grid to support the population. Ghana has some protests there over their own gov'ts policies.

Could this possibly happen here? Well to answer that question we hear about power outages in California and even Texas. Remember what happened in winter last year in Texas...

He specifically refers to Congresswoman AOC. She's bought into the climate change crisis, what crisis it seems every so often some activist claims that in like 5 months, 5 years hell let's just say 5 mins the world will be in a real crisis. If that doesn't come true then just restart the clock. UGH!!!

Green politics is a 'new form of Marxism'

[VIDEO] Nigel Farage listed as the Brexit leader - British Exit, get it? He was one of the leaders of the effort to get Great Britain out of the European Union - joins Paul Murray.

I've been noticing that Australia has been experience some energy issues primarily with their electric grid. In some parts of that nation there have been blackouts and on top of that they just recently installed a new gov't which does want to address climate change. That means more green energy - solar power, windmills, etc.

You know you hear this marxism thrown around. Climate change is one thing if it's a legit issue - not that I've actively have a serious look at this issue. It's another thing when it's being cloaked in the language of social justice. I want clean air and certainly don't want to see global warming become an issue, it seems the marxism is forcing people to make major changes in their lives for something that may not be a serious issue.

Stossel: The real reason for record gas prices

[VIDEO] Well John Stossel explains this at great lengths, however, the more simplistic answer that I give is that the progressives want us to give up our gas cars for the sake of climate change and force us to buy electric vehicles. I have experienced the thought process of building an oil pipeline is harmful to the environment although what Stossel discusses is how energy companies try to drill without much impact to the environment.

Mark Dice: Climate change propaganda

[VIDEO] Well actually the title of his latest video is "It's been happening for a long time" talking about the mainstream media or corporate media talking about global warming/climate change. It's not just in the political talking points you might hear from CNN to MSNBC to CBS. It's also in our entertainment with documentaries and movies about this same subject. Both will work in tandem to convince us who consume the news and the entertainment to scare us into accepting certain solutions. Not just the "Green New Deal" but other policies which to Dice translate to more socialism.

A Black baby a "carbon-emitter"

I must say this is a bit disheartening. A child being born really should be a cause for celebration. Check out this op-ed by Jeremy Hunt:

An hour after my daughter was born, I found myself racing back and forth between my wife’s hospital room and my newborn’s crib in a neonatal intensive care unit. Both faced dire health challenges. It was the worst experience of my life, but in the end, mother and baby recovered.

The ordeal taught me something: Nothing on this Earth is more fulfilling than being a husband and father.

Driving home from the hospital, I received a call: I’d been accepted to Yale Law School. After overcoming one obstacle, I would soon face another as a young dad and a law student.

A year later, I’ve had the privilege of telling my classmates about the joys of marriage and parenthood — but not everyone has been receptive. One student told me it might be “unethical” to have children in today’s America.

That view is distressingly common among our elites. Many climate activists, including AOC, fret that children increase our carbon emissions over their lifetime, hastening an ecological crisis. Apparently, human life loses intrinsic value in a crisis.

Also:

It’s becoming increasingly difficult to raise children in today’s America. It boils down to two things: cost and culture.

Day care is astronomically expensive for young parents like me. Many working-age men are unable to find employment. Housing costs continue to skyrocket. Student debt cripples nearly my entire generation — delaying family formation for some and leaving others with little impetus to marry and start a family at all.

Then there’s the growing anti-family sentiment, especially among elites. Babies are seen as obstacles in the fight against climate change and the quest for personal “fulfillment.” Life in the womb is no longer considered a gift but an inconvenience to be discarded at will.

I don't have kids but it's jarring to see having children as part of the issue of "climate change". It seems a lot of the things we take for granted is being upended and treated as a bad thing.

No Deanna Troi just no

This post from Instapundit discusses Marina Sirtis - who played Deanna Troi from Star Trek: The Next Generation and I had a crush on that character - getting all political talking about the weather related issues in Texas. I'm disappointed....

Stossel: Gov't fueled fires

[VIDEO] So John Stossel explores why these forest fires have become such a problem on the west coast. Is it this continuing idea of global warming? Err sorry the operative phrase these days is climate change.

Stossel argues in this video that it's not climate changes that's a problem. California just isn't properly managing their forests.

As with many issues in America, when people made up their mind on something - i.e. climate change - then their mind isn't going to shift no matter what. Gov. Gavin Newsome seems to have brought the idea that climate change is why there are severe forest fires out there.

The way I see it California a wonderful state to visit, is beset by a number of issues that are solvable. Forest fires is one of them, however, I just wonder if the supermajority there is just deadset on these issues that they just don't understand the real problems.

Progressive California’s growing race challenge

So many issues out there and yet California sets the trends and from what I've seen out there about the "Golden State" it's not all good!
No state in the union has been more adamant in opposing President Trump’s policy on immigration than California. The Golden State widely sees itself — and is widely seen in progressive circles — as the harbinger of America’s multi-cultural future, a “sanctuary state” that epitomizes ethnic ascendency.

Yet in reality, the picture is far less pleasing, most of all for racial minorities, particularly the poor and working class. The state policy agenda, dominated by concerns over climate change, has been something of a disaster for the very minorities that state progressives so fervently claim to serve.
I suppose I can turn this into the progressives care about you to a point. Is it about the votes and then never having to do anything in return?

The next part of this article is called "The great betrayal"
California’s progressives talk passionately about open borders but they rarely mention that California already has a border wall — one reason why migrants might be headed to the largely unwalled Texas border. Nor do the leaders of the well-intended have a policy to uplift new migrants from impoverished backgrounds by fostering affordable housing, quality blue-collar and middle-income jobs and decent schools.

Well over 70 percent of all non-citizen Latino households in the state, notes a recent United Way study, live close to or below the poverty line.

Under these conditions, California cannot create a successful multi-cultural society. As environmentalist Michael Shellenberger has noted, the way the state applies its “green policies” has transformed California from “the most progressive state” to “the most racist.” Recently, a coalition of hundreds of veteran civil rights leaders sued CARB over selecting greenhouse gas reduction measures that place disproportionately high cost burdens on minority working-class families and placing a new generation of discriminatory bureaucratic blockades against aspiring minority homeowners.
Hmmmm, you care about minorities but your policies prove to be very regressive for them. Especially the ones who aren't wealthy.

So who went to an anti-fracking rally in Chicago recently?

I'm a regular reader of the CapFax blog. And overtime there have been stories about fracking in this state. So apparently Illinois has the potential to produce fossil fuels somewhere in this state. Although I understand that well the fracking is about exploring for oil so perhaps there's some energy somewhere under the surface and maybe not.

Either way, since Illinois is a solidly blue state (which could also mean liberal but that's a whole other debate) there is a debate over fracking. This debate over energy and fossil fuels will attract the environmentalist who automatically will think that this exploration will hurt the environment.

Well there were some pics one of them you see here that I actually saw first at Newsalert. Well apparently the people of the Chicago area don't seem to care about fracking. There was barely anyone at the rally unless of course someone came way too late for the festivities at Daley Plaza downtown.

Or a commentor at CapFax noted that all the anti-frackers ran out of gas on their way to their respective rallies. LOL!

Anyway, it's easy to conclude that well there aren't many people opposed to this. I'm indifferent but at the same time some parts of this state could use an economic boost. Why not see if there's any fossil fuels under the soil in this state?
