Campaign 2026: Texas U.S. Senate

I want to discuss the entrance of Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett in the Texas US Senate race.

She's one of many prominent Democrats often noted by conservative commentators and even President Trump. She's dismissed as not being very bright - in spite of the fact that she holds a law degree.

And while many on the right might dismiss this ad one thing I may add to this discussion is that whenever someone talks about you, one could read that as praise. Perhaps that was what Ms. Crockett was going for in her ad as she seeks another elected office. [VIDEO]

I suppose there is no issue with this ad on my end as she introduces herself to the voting public in Texas - she's said to be running against incumbent Texas Republican US Sen. Ted Cruz. She can play quotes of President Trump and treat this as praise. She's showing her opposition to the President.

On the other hand I do believe Bill O'Reilly as he opined on this ad, he doesn't view her as a legit problem solver. Matt Walsh discusses this ad and he sees her as nothing more than an influencer. She's not in Congress and likely won't go to the Senate to really do anything.

Stranger things can happen and I won't even pretend to know the voting habits of Texans. I'm thinking unless she can show why she'll better represent Texas in the United States Senate, her campaign won't likely grain traction. And she'll be out of Congress if she's committed to this run.

The floor is open to anyone that is able to say that Jasmine Crocket would make a great US Senator and also to know why she's should be elected to the Senate.

Donald Trump elected 47th President of the United States

 All happened on Tuesday.

I had intended to vote early but found myself doing it on election day. The results weren't surprising although I didn't expect a particularly overwhelming victory. My gut said it would be a very close election and they'd be counting for days.

Vice President Kamala Harris was a terrible candidate, but then let's be fair she had a short time to get a campaign together. How she replaced President Joe Biden as a nominee in July is a story in and of itself. Perhaps that should be studied by future politicos. Hopefully neither the Republicans or the Democrats will never, ever do that again.

At the end of the day it appears no one was motivated to vote for the first woman of color as President. The Vice President just didn't make her case very well why Americans should vote for her.

As an aside Republicans regain Senate next year and thankfully there will be a change in leadership, Mitch McConnell already stated he's stepping down. It has become apparent that he had been suffering some serious health issues in recent years.

I'm not sure what the margin is in the US House though it appears Republicans will keep control. The margin of control had been thin due to removals and resignation. And also it seemed any Republican leader in the house seems under threat of removal with what happened to Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

This recent election is viewed as a mandate. Let's see what the 45th and future 47th President will be able to do in his next four years.

NBC News

Also a political comeback, January 6, 2021 could've been a day that should've knocked the President out. And he was impeached not long after he left office. And then the court cases, Democrats liked to bring up that Trump was a convicted felon.

It didn't matter, my two cents if you leave him alone he may just go away. They couldn't and I think his base turned out because they believed Dems were going to use every tool they could to keep him from running again and winning.

I may also add these last four years weren't great years.

Now to see how Mr. Beat will look at this election.

Sen. J.D. Vance visits the Joe Rogan Experience

[VIDEO] Election Day is next Tuesday just as a reminder.

Rogan also extended an invitation to Vice President Kamala Harris, however, it appears that they haven't been able to come to terms. The invitation is still open and this would be a great opportunity to hear from the first woman President - she's failed so far in her media blitz since she became the Democrat nominee. So much for her being a "cultural icon" even Beyonce didn't help...

Anyway, we get to hear more from Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance running for Vice President with the 45th P.O.T.U.S. Donald Trump who already had his appearance with Rogan. This interview is over three hours.

Donald Trump visits The Joe Rogan Experience

[VIDEO] Almost three hours of Trump  (45th and potentially 47th P.O.T.U.S.) with Joe Rogan. This was something that has been discussed and it's a good thing that the Vice President Kamala Harris likely won't go on. The Vice President's media blitz has been a bust but she gets points for trying.

Of course you know what Trump talks about himself and what he did in office and what he hopes to do as the 47th P.O.T.U.S.

Tucker Carlson interviews Dave Ramsey

[VIDEO] As you may know Ramsey is more of a personal finance guy who advocates mostly for cutting up your credit cards and say no to debt. Even going so far to advise that people shoot for a 0 credit score bceause that means they have no debt.

Of course as you may see from his interview with Donald Trump fairly recently he's into discussion the economic plans for both the Democrats' Kamala Harris and the Republicans' Trump.

Ramsey and Tucker talk about personal finance and their dislike of big banks and economic policy in this recent sit down.

Timcast IRL: Call Her Daddy Kamala Interview BACKFIRES, Fans Are PISSED & HATE Kamala Harris

[VIDEO] Add to this the number of interviews that the Vice President has that's just very underwhelming. Part of this is that we're looking at basically soft interviews. She's going onto very friendly venues and we're still not getting answers about who she is and what she stands for.

Tim Pool and his crew talks about this interview.

Also I don't follow Call Her Daddy, but this is a podcast which caters to women and the basic conversation is sexuality. I suppose doing this podcast makes sense for VP Harris if she wants to primarily talk about the abortion issue.

Dave Ramsey: Can Trump’s Plan Clean Up America’s Financial Mess?

[VIDEO] Dave Ramsey is more about personal finance but he weighs in sometimes on the issues of the day. Sometimes the issues of the day affect your personal finance such as inflation for example. He gets very upset over gov't spending and sometimes how the federal gov't is run.

What he does say is correct though what happens at your house is more important that what happens in the White House, the people's house.

As you may know Trump will advertise how the economy went during his term in office. Of course, what helped kill that was the pandemic. There were soundbites during his presidency that shows some activists/pundits such as Bill Maher who said they want the economy to tank to get President Trump out. Now that right there is sick as hell. That's how bad some didn't want him in power.

He wants to get energy in America back on track. Inflation back under control. He wants to ensure that Americans can have more take home pay. I wish they had the time in this approximately 25 min. interview to discuss how the 45th POTUS plans to eliminate the income tax.

There was a VP debate last nite and I hadn't really discussed nor shown the so far only debate between Vice President Kamala Harris & Donald Trump. We're going to have to go to the "Shedd School of Poli Sci" for that one.

Oh I forgot to add, Ramsey had extended an invitation to interview the Vice President and it seems so far he hasn't gotten a response positive or negative. But then again she hasn't largely been doing many and the handful she had been doing were friendly and she still isn't doing that well in them. But I would be curious what a Ramsey interview with VP Harris would look like,

Donald Trump wins Iowa Caucuses

And one victim of that is Vivek Ramaswamy who dropped out this past evening. It will be onto the very important New Hampshire primary we'll see how that goes next week.

The 45th POTUS was always a strong front runner and while the 46th POTUS is currently showing that he's mentally shot. This is his momentum, and I hope he doesn't beat us over the head about the "stolen" 2020 race.

He'd do well to remind all Americans that this nation hadn't done well since "let's go Brandon" assumed the Presidency.

Timcast IRL: Will America reach the 2024 presidential election?

[VIDEO] Scary stuff....

2020 was a strange year with the pandemic and the seeming breakdown in law enforcement and societal norms. We see the strange push for social justice especially in light of George Floyd. It seems this idea of being woke has been put forward like never before.

In this rcnt  Timcast IRL they talk about Col. Douglas MacGregor's dire comments about the 2024 how he sees the general breakdown in America will cause the nation to not even make it to the 2024 election. And Tim Pool and company might take it further someone might ensure there will be further issues with the election. Perhaps someone will cheat again to ensure there person will will sort of how many alleged that happened in 2020 between Trump and Biden.

I'll let you watch Col MacGregor's comments here as he made them about four months ago on PBD's podcast. Allow me to remain optimistic that the chaos of 2020 is something we can get out of but then again America is so severely divided it doesn't seem like we're going to come together anytime soon.

Donald Trump on "Meet the Press"

[VIDEO] I hardly watch these Sunday morning political talk shows anymore, and as many of you may know the host of NBC's Meet the Press stepped aside his name is Chuck Todd and well I have no idea if he could stand up with someone like Tim Russert...

Anyway, NBC's Kristen Welker interviews the 45th POTUS regarding election fraud, the economy, the Biden administration, Ukraine/Russia, and even noted he's the first former President in over 100 years to run for President again. So he could follow in the footsteps of - for one - Grover Cleveland who served two non-consecutive terms as President in the 19th Century.

Having seen this interview on YouTube long after perhaps a more edited interview was broadcast, this seemed like a great interview and at times 45 was seemingly hostile to Welker. I suppose I became more interested in him handling an interview with an outlet who would be likely more unfair to him than say FOX News - although that's in doubt now. He did allow that Welker herself is a better journalist than most in the "fake news media".

One question that was important to ask if whether or not American voters want to hear about the past - the 2020 race especially which Trump still claims was rigged - or do they want to hear about the future? What are President Trump's future plans if American voters return him to the White House in 2024?

What I have here is the unedited interview and let me know your thoughts on it.

Valuetainment: Giuliani slams DeSantis' chance to be president

[VIDEO] I don't think he slammed Ron DeSantis though if Giuliani is right and DeSantis is slipping in the polls for the 2024 race, it's because Trump has been in the news for his treatment. Remember Trump is in the news because of this indictment out of New York for spending hush money on Stormy Daniels. It's safe to say Trump is a front runner to regain the Presidency in 2024.

And another question to ask which Giuliani isn't the first to assert, can you be a great governor and yet a terrible president? I think both are related both are executive positions though running a state is certainly different than running a nation. Certainly running a city is different than running a state?

We could go on and on with different units of gov't, however, does running a state gov't translate to running a nation?

I don't mean that question to dismiss DeSantis as a presidential candidate at all. I really do admire his as a leader especially on what I may call social or cultural issues. The question we should ask for all candidates for President including on the Democrat side Robert F. Kennedy Jr is are they ready for the Presidency.

We could ask this about Obama, Trump, Biden, Bush, or even Clinton. Some of them were governors, one was a senator, one was a former Vice President, and another still was an entrepreneur. What does it take to be successful as President is it quantifiable?

#Tucker: Talking about the Jan 6 footage the public hadn't seen

[VIDEO] As you might have seen on Glenn Beck the video before, Tucker Carlson has discussed this on his program this week. And as you may also know you get Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) denouncing what Tucker has been doing. Indeed Schumer has gone further calling for Tucker to be deplatformed, taken off the air.

Basically releasing more footage from January 6, 2021 is proving to be dangerous for them. Again are we being manipulated?

Glenn Beck: Proof Jan. 6 committee lied to us

[VIDEO] That whole situation on January 6, 2021 when Donald Trump before he left office rallied his supporters and urged them to peacefully protest at the US Capitol as the US Congress counted all the electoral vote has become the "insurrection".

If you watch people like Glenn Beck or even Tucker Carlson and others you see that it became a reason to hold a number of people for months without a trial. It became a means to try to impeach a President who left office. It became another means to further demolish political opposition as so-called insurrectionists.

However, as you might have seen from Tucker Carlson or as you see from Beck now we see that the public has been manipulated. That was a scary day and it's shocking to see American citizens forcibly enter the US Capitol breaking windows and what not. And then we see that perhaps what might've been reported on CNN or any other liberal news network isn't what we thought it was.

Believe me, I supported Trumps efforts to challenge the 2020 election but then there was hardly anything that could reasonably be done to change the results of that election. Unfortunately the former President wasn't able to flip those disputed electoral votes from states such as Georgia & Arizona especially.

Still January 6th was a scary day, it seemed Americans lost control in a year of a pandemic or even horrible rioting during a pandemic. I hope we don't see that again. At the same time, Americans doesn't deserve propaganda, but the truth and true justice.

Nancy Pelosi steps down

While she will remain in the US House of Representatives she will stand down as leader of the House Democrat caucus. That means the Democrats will have a new minority leader. After 2010 when Democrats lost control of the House she stood down as Speaker and was minority although she did regain the speakership after 2018.

Probably a good thing for Democrats that means they will need new leadership, however, I'd be worried about the caucus going into a further leftward direction.

GOP win slim US House majority

[VIDEO] Former Pres. Trump noted this yesterday in his candidacy announcement, however, it wasn't official. One thing that was easy to predict even if there wasn't this red wave that didn't happen last week was that the Republicans would take the house. Democrats won the US Senate with the call of Adam Laxalt losing to Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto.

Either way the Republicans got 218 seats to say they have control over that chamber and this means a check to President Joe Biden's spending spree. May even mean no more student loan forgiveness....

In 2024, Donald Trump is in!

[VIDEO] In 2015, citizen Donald Trump announced his candidacy for the Presidency from Trump Tower in New York City. In 2022, former President Trump announced his candidacy for the Presidency from the Mar-A-Lago estate in Florida. When running for re-election in 2020, President Trump moved his residency from New York City - from which he was long associated and made his real estate career and fortune - to Mar-A- Lago in Florida.

That little fact could be a problem if he wanted Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as his 2024 running mate. In the US Constitution candidates for President & Vice President can't be from the same state. For example Dick Cheney before being tapped by George W. Bush as his running mate in 2000 Cheney had to move from his home in Texas to his former home in Wyoming.

News was already coming out in the evening that Trump had filed his candidacy papers ahead of his announcement.

Ben Shapiro: This is what Republicans can learn from Ron DeSantis

[VIDEO] As we should've learned from this election around the nation, anyone can be better than this joker is not a winning strategy. The populace may not be happy with say President Biden, however, that doesn't motive them to vote for anybody against Biden aka Let's go Brandon.

DeSantis as Governor of the free state of Florida is a strong leader and the red wave his Florida this past Tuesday. Oh another quick note they didn't have issues counting votes as was the case in other states such as Nevada - who's Governors and US Senate races were called days after election day - and Arizona where votes are still being counted for Governor.

Still there is only one Ron DeSantis, however, perhaps even if blue states had their own version of DeSantis. At least one who is very principled and can govern where would many of these states be. Who could be Illinois' DeSantis for example? And what about states like California or New York?

Friday, November 11, 2022

Ben Shapiro: Why we lost. How we win?

[VIDEO] He explains why the red wave became a red trickle. Did Donald Trump's continued insistence that the 2020 election was stolen from him cause voters to pull back from a red wave? They didn't want to elect Republican candidates who believed that there was widespread voter fraud in 2020.

On the other hand Republican voters wanted to elect someone who can govern. Yeah you might want someone who can fight cultural war issues and of course fight the media, however, the main thing is that you want someone who can govern. A good candidate even if they don't win at the top of a ticket can go down ballot and elect Republicans down the ballot.

So the questions stands. Does this bode well for Trump running for President in 2024? Perhaps Ron DeSanctimonius will show himself as the future of the GOP in 2024? Time will tell just two more years to go!

O'Reilly: Speaker Pelosi is finished

[VIDEO] It appears that the GOP will be on their way to gaining control of the US House of Representatives. According the ABC News outfit Five Thirty Eight so far the GOP has 211 seats to 201 for the Democrats. That means voters in many congressional districts will have effectively fired Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House.

As for Bill O'Reilly here he says that Speaker Pelosi is finished. Her caucus isn't likely to hold their majority as she predicted. He also claimed she's severely damaged the nation. It would be amazing if she held onto even being minority leader in the House. And she's almost 80 if she isn't already, time for some new blood. However, new blood means a more left-leaning progressive caucus and that might not be good for the Democrat Party.

Once the GOP secures those seats to give them a solid majority

What red wave?

[VIDEO] Red Eagle Politics on YouTube is a must follow if you want to see Republican analysis across the nation. And he sees how yesterday's red wave became nothing more than a trickle. And clearly the GOP has some work to do to energize the base that gave Donald J. Trump his sole term in the White House.

I would say in New York - I was hoping Zeldin would take out Kathy Hochul and he didn't - they need to re-energize the GOP there. And at least there are some GOP flips for Congress. Then there's Pennsylvania, the GOP there needs work a horrible candidate for Governor in Mastriano and then there is Mehmet Oz who lost to a man who just seems very incapable of handing the rigors of being a US Senator.

We got some historical firsts such an out lesbian winning the Governorship in Massachusetts. The third Black man to win a US Governorship in Wes Moore he won last nite.

We see that Herschel Walker will be in a runoff against my Morehouse Brother and US Sen Raphael Warnock in the Senate Race in Georgia. My Spelman sister Stacey Abrams lost to incumbent GOP Gov. Kemp and actually conceded!

Well what does it look like right now well some states are still counting such as in Nevada and Arizona. Of course there will be a run-off for the Senate seat in Georgia. Republicans may well have a small majority in the US Congress. That will be good for the country under the circumstances.

And of course another thing to add, could this not bode well for former President Trump's bid to regain the Presidency in 2024. Does this further strengthen Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis as the future of the national GOP in 2024. DeSantis won re-election for Florida Gov. last nite as well in dominating fashion against former GOP governor and Democrat nominee for Governor Charlie Crist.
