Fractured Media, Firm Principles

In this clip from his recent appearance on the PBD Podcast, Ben Shapiro addresses the broad drop in views and engagement across much of conservative media since the intense political year of 2024. He breaks down the different audiences that various right-leaning personalities actually reach and draws a clear line: he would rather have lower ratings than abandon his principles. Shapiro says he prefers Democrats not running the country over chasing clicks that depend on perpetual conflict, and he notes that he has held positions (on 2020, January 6, and other issues) that cost him audience rather than reverse course for numbers.

Ben Shapiro: Reaction to Finance Bros

[VIDEO] While he reacts to a couple of clips of "finance bro" Dave Ramsey, the first clip he reacts to shows a young man thinking a $1K emergency fund is a stupid idea. I disagree with that although Shapiro isn't wrong to talk about how long $1K can go in an emergency, and for sure it won't last long.

Dave Ramsey advocates for that in his baby steps. If nothing else having $1K on standby is a start and you won't be staying there for sure, eventually you can grow to save enough for at least several months of living expenses.

Personal finance isn't a strong interest for me, however, you do want to know where your money is going.
