[VIDEO] What is Billy O talking about? Well high crime in a number of urban areas around American and many of these urban areas are heavily populated by minorities - whether Black or Hispanic, etc.
He takes aim at the white political establishment in states like New York, California or even Illinois and their lack of action in addressing the issues of violent crime in those states. What O'Reilly is right about are these policies such as "no bail" in New York which are well intentioned are driving these high crime rates.
If I understand correctly no bail means you don't need any money to get bailed out of jail. They arrest you and you get no bail and released. Regardless of the crime. A young kid with a loaded gun perhaps intended to use it in a crime, arrested, no bail, and then released.
Liberals think jail is bad, policing is bad, and of course insuring dangerous criminals don't commit further acts of crime is bad you get the issue of high crime. And the politicians whom Bill O'Reilly discusses in this video all might hide behind the issue of systemic racism....
It's a bit backwards as a Black male I want safer streets and the bad guys held accountable for their crimes. If there are issues in that they should be addressed, but still that's why we have police and the criminal justice system.
