J.J. McCullough: Why can't YouTubers win elections

[VIDEO] How about a fun one this morning....

Does YouTube success parlay into political success. Canadian YouTuber McCullough says basically no.

It's not always controversy that keeps these aforementioned YouTubers from getting elected. There's a huge difference between being YouTube famous vs becoming a politician. It's probably as much attracting the electorate you seek votes from and that's different from a YouTube audience. It's also knowing where exactly you're running and attracting those voters.

A YouTube audience might be more outside of say a congressional district. You might have a national or international following, however, there's hardly anyone watching of subscribed to you in your congressional district.

Certainly the issue here is certainly can success in one area parlay into success in another. The answer need not be no, there just has to be some important individual factors in play here.
