Mancow for Governor

I didn't know until reading this that Mancow is no longer on WLS-AM and it amazes me that Erich Muller would even consider a run for office. The premise of this post from the Capitol Fax is that Illinois couldn't be nuts enough to consider Mancow. But then again are we....

I basically know of Mancow's antics over the years. I and some many others could just dismiss him as a shock jock. He holds conservative/libertarian views and perhaps contrary to his antics he's a Christian.

Consider who we elected President in 2016 and conventional wisdom had it that Donald Trump wasn't even going to place in that election. WRONG! It turned out to be his time. His message resonated America first, Make America Great Again. He was a populist, even better a disruptor longtime politicos either have to attach themselves to him for a brief time or fight him tooth and nail.

Just like Trump, perhaps Muller could come up with a message that resonates across the whole state. Like Trump, Mancow could reach people. Who knows Mancow has an audience a fanbase and on the other hand Trump has a fanbase and is definitely a great salesman.

We can laugh now and who knows if the Cow is serious, however, the way things have been going lately I'm not counting him out. Especially if he's serious about getting the support of one Willie Wilson.

Here's one of Mancow's recent tweets on the topic
I didn't exactly have a front row seat to 2016. I want a front row seat to 2022!

On his radio show, Mancow made fun of retarded people, played fart songs and asked women to show him their breasts. The woke crowd, me too and others will eat him alive. He can't win. (@_@)

I'm a longtime listener of his radio program, all of what you said is true. On the other hand Trump was charged with most of what you accuse Mancow of. I think times have somewhat changed and if Mancow wants to take the risk it's now. We'll see what happens if he goes for it.
