[VIDEO] Rebel Pundit comes back with a new video featuring former GOP congressional candidate Paul McKinley. Rev. Al Sharpton was in town apparently to host a town hall meeting and well it's advertised as a full fledged anti-Democratic machine revolt.
Not that I went out of my way to look for this at least in the local mainstream media. It's safe to say we'll hear absolutely nothing about the comments made, but I do plan to look for any coverage.
On the surface it seems great that we have a few dedicated outspoken people to talk about the issues concerning Chicago's Black community. The question is whether or not we'll see things go in the direction that this video seems to indication. One can only hold out hope, but time will tell if this is serious.
Also, we can only hope that if the Black community is serious in their opposition against Mayor Rahm Emanuel they will find a candidate who can credibly run against the Mayor. Of course even if this person doesn't win in 2015, perhaps they can lay the groundwork for a future race.
