Tucker talks with Milo Yiannopoulos

[VIDEO] From a recent podcast Tucker Carlson discusses with Milo Yiannopoulos a question that's largely forbidden in the West. A question that was bluntly asked well over a decade ago on a Ugandan TV show, "Why are you gay?"

The ensuing discussion between the aforementioned two men in 2025 was interesting and very eye-opening.

Allow me to warn you that an epithet will be mentioned numerous times during this almost two and a half hour interview.

President Trump on 60 Minutes

Just so you know CBS News (60 Minutes is produced by CBS News) has been undergoing changes under Bari Weiss. I do wonder how much this iconic TV news magazine is affected by this new direction.

I'm showing the one hour plus extended, most importantly unedited, interview of Pres. Trump with Norah O'Donnell that aired last night on 60 Minutes. [VIDEO]

They covered a lot of ground. The immigration actions, sending Nat'l Guard to American cities, the ongoing War Dept campaign against drug smuggling from Venezuela, potential American nuclear weapons testing, foreign policy with regards to the Middle East in addition to China & Russia, etc.

And Trump isn't afraid to take on his predecessors Joe Biden and Barack Obama. They even talked about his  attempt to take care of "Obamacare".

And let's not forget about this gov't shutdown that's gone on for well over a month. It forced the President to scramble to insure our military servicemembers still continue to get paid.

The extended interview I trust more than the edited one that aired last night I saw most of the 28 minutes of that edited interview.

Just bear in mind Pres. Trump won a settlement with CBS over their rather skewered interview in 2024 with then Vice President Kamala Harris. It almost makes me wonder if Weiss was brought in to repair the damage from that.

Trump 2028?

Available at Trump Store

Trump knows he can't run again even if he had the interest. The Guardian:

Donald Trump said “it’s too bad” he is not allowed to run for a third term, conceding the constitutional reality even as he expressed interest in continuing to serve.

“If you read it, it’s pretty clear,” Trump told reporters on board Air Force One from Japan to South Korea on Wednesday. “I’m not allowed to run. It’s too bad.”

The president’s comments, which continue his on-again, off-again musings about a third term, came a day after the House speaker, Mike Johnson, said it would be impossible for Trump to stay in the White House. “I don’t see a path for that,” the Republican told reporters at the US Capitol on Tuesday.

Johnson, who has built his career by drawing closer to Trump, said he discussed the issue with the president and thought he understood. “He and I have talked about the constrictions of the constitution,” he said.

The speaker described how the constitution’s 22nd amendment does not allow for a third presidential term, and changing that with a new amendment would be a cumbersome, years-long process of winning over both states and members of Congress.

Johnson dismissed worries about a potential third term as “hair on fire” by the president’s critics. “He has a good time with that, trolling the Democrats,” Johnson said.

I knew it, he's trolling the Democrats. It's a great troll!

In all seriousness, I'd be OK with tweaking the 22nd Amendment. Get your two terms, sit out for four years and for another term or two later. Out of all of our former Presidents Obama is the youngest, it's perfect for him should he really want to run again.

Not that I want him to, just saying.

As for Trump while I wouldn't mind another term for him, rightfully we'd have to be concerned about the fact that in 2028 he would be well over 80 years old at this point. He's already surpassed the previous occupant and IMHO he definitely didn't seem up to it. He was nothing more than a figure head.

O'Reilly: Reaction to Trump's Gaza Victory

The big news over the weekend. The ceasefire in Gaza Strip between the Israelis & Hamas. It looks like Trump will have his dream of turning that part of the world into a resort. And of course the hostages come home and no more bombing and terrorism.

Check out Bill O'Reilly's take [VIDEO]

You know the peace has been broken before so I'm in trust but verify mode. However, time will tell if this sticks. The President has shown a willingness to retaliate decisively if he must.

Michael Knowles and the trans-widow

[VIDEO] Knowles interviews Tracy Shannon who was married to a man who had issues with cross-dressing and eventually opted to transition to become a woman. This interview is very shocking.

How the husband (who essentially became the wife) conducted himself around his children. And I got to say he cross-dressed, transition to be a woman, and even subjected his children to his various partners other than his wife was definitely a very toxic situation.

And the wife, it seems she was shamed into accepting her husband's gender transition. A counselor (who according to Ms. Shannon now advocated for the gender transition of children) basically called her "close-minded" because she had an issue with her husband's transition. In her words whatever life they had the husband effectively threw it all away for their gender transition.

I find this a very sad story. Now the description talks about transgender ideology and I don't know if this is about that. My hot take on this was this was a troubled man who allowed his transition to ruin his relationship with his wife and children.

School superintendent resigns after being detained by ICE

Before sharing the recent news video from Des Moines, Iowa regarding the schools superintendent there.

I was shocked to hear he attempted to flee and was detained by ICE. It turns out he was not an American citizen, and it caused me to wonder how could this happen in of all places Iowa.

From what I've see so far it appears that soon to be former Superintendent Ian Roberts lied about his immigration status. And perhaps the folks at the Des Moines Public Schools had failed to adequately vet Mr. Roberts. This article from the Des Moines Register says the Des Moines schools had used an outside firm to vet him.

And reading that article further he seemed to have not be forthcoming about where he actually got his degrees. He misrepresented his doctoral degree at Maryland's Morgan State University although he later got his doctorate at a private for-profit university.

I just got to say this whole story was a mess. This is what happened yesterday in Des Moines. From the start we hear students had walked out in support of Mr. Roberts via this report from KCCI. Roberts had submitted his resignation. [VIDEO]

I have to say, the immigration issue is a charged issue right now. There's no middle ground here so perhaps I shouldn't be too surprised if there are people who want to support Mr. Roberts.

However, where I stop at is the fact that he misrepresented his citizenship and his academic record. That really bothers me and I wonder if the people who are supporting him actually realize how he arrived in this position.

My position is to point the finger at him as much as I would at the school district who hired him.

A Life After Layoff: Can You REALLY Get Fired Because Of Social Media?

[VIDEO] I'm sharing this video with you for practical advise. Yes you have freedom of speech, however, as we see in the recent murder of Charlie Kirk if you express joy over his death and do so on the internet you might be at risk of losing your job. A company might be concerned about the perception of their employees happy over something like this.

Real talk, I'm not too happy to see people lose their jobs over this. At the same time I would argue for decency. If you have nothing nice to say about anyone its best to say nothing. We've lost that.

When someone we don't agree with dies, that shouldn't be cause for losing a job. The example "TikTok" we see in the above video got me very upset because they indicated they had joy over a man's death. That's not the behavior of a reasonable human being.

With that said while I'm not happy that they lost their job over something they said online, I'm also glad that company will no longer employ someone who's shown their true character. My only hope is that they realize what got them in trouble and conduct themselves differently in the future.

Shouldn't we all!

9/11: What Usama Bin Laden thought would happen after the attacks

Allow me to start off by saying I've neglected to mark this very sad day in recent years. I hope regardless we're learning the lessons of that horrendous day. We keep Americans and global citizens safe from  terrorism of any kind. And that Americans were able to step up to the plate to defend our values. Of course, we should also note the battle is never ending.

[VIDEO] What did Al-Qaeda and their leader Usama Bin Laden expected to happen after 9/11/01? This is what the Infographics Show on YouTube attempts to answer.

I'm sure they expected America to back off on Middle Easterm affairs - well that didn't work out very well did it. They expected the Muslim world to rise again American influence  or even just Western influence - that also didn't work out very well.

In the 14 years that followed, Usama Bin Laden was killed by Seal Team 6. And this video noted there are other Islamic Fundamentalist groups have also arisen. We don't hear a lot about Al-Qaeda out there in the news anymore like we used to, although let's make no mistake they still exist out there.

In 2021 when President Joe Biden was President the regime known as the Taliban retook Afghanistan. Remember back in the aftermath of 9/11 during Operation Enduring Freedom resulted in the Taliban being effectively removed from their control of Afghanistan in favor of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. The Republic fell again in 2021 with President Biden's very disastrous withdrawal of American forces. We had recently marked the fourth anniversary of the deaths of US military personnel in a terrorist attack at Kabul Airport.

As stated the battle to defend our values is never ending. I remember in the wake of 9/11 with expectations of future military operations that there were naysers who suggested that America would get hit even more - especially talking about Iraq. Thankfully that didn't happen and an easy retort of the 2000s was that America was not again hit with a terrorist attack here.

However, another concern now is immigration. I'm seeing reports of a serious problem with Islamic fundamentalism in Europe, Great Britain especially. The idea of bringing in people from the Middle East or at least the Islamic world who show themselves as hostile to Western values. This is why I say the battle is never ending.

Here's hoping we don't have the sadness of 9/11 anywhere on this globe again.

Charlie Kirk R.I.P.

My next post tomorrow shares a video regarding 9/11 as we approach the 24th anniversary of that very sad event in American history.

Then something tragic happened today out of Utah. Charlie Kirk - consevative activist - was about to debate on a college campus about gun rights was shot in the neck. Allegedly I hear he was shot by a sniper, and I would liken this to what happened with Donald Trump in Pennsylvania during the 2024 campaign.

I see some people are celebrating on social media and those are evil people. Some people are using his own words about the 2nd amendment against him.

We can only speculate, but by Kirk's supporters his death is being termed an assassination. And we're living in volatile times were it seems political discourse can quickly escalate to violence.

I'm just very sorry that he's not with us at the age of 31. I didn't really follow him but am aware of him, perhaps now is the time to look up some of his discourse. Agree or don't agree he was a husband, father, brother, and a son.

I hope they catch the person who killed him.

I really liked this pic that I found of him on IG.

J.J. McCullough: How has POLITICAL COMMENTARY changed since the 90s?

[VIDEO] Well one thing that is true these days are that today's political commentators are a lot more partisan than they seemed to be. However, haven't they always been partisan? I sometimes wish there were more programs where there is more of a point/counterpoint.

Timcast Reaction: PBD IS RIGHT, 1 Capitalist vs 20 Anti-Capitalists

[VIDEO] Patrick Bet-David talked about going onto Jubilee on his own podcast last week and the actually episode was released over the Labor Day weekend.

Have you seen it? How do you think he did? Check it out here [VIDEO]

And I see that Tim Pool was thoroughly entertained by this episode of Surrounded where you see other right-wing personalities as Michael Knowles and Ben Shapiro. Basically PBD has an extended discussion with a number of left-leaning people who are willing to debate.

While I haven't seen this episode, what seems to be a recurring theme in videos like this is generally hostility from people with a different political bent. PBD I do think can handle that, but it's shocking how there are those who aren't there to debate, they're just there to win an argument with a lot of emotion!

60 Minutes - Hiroshima

I forgot how great 60 Minutes was and perhaps I really missed out on the true heyday of this TV newsmagazine. It was a program my mom really liked in her lifetime and of course the great journalists such as Mike Wallace, Harry Reasoner, Morley Safer, Ed Bradley, and even the commentary of one Andy Rooney are greatly missed. And I'm discussing this because of this story.

[VIDEO] Morley Safer talks about Hiroshima after it was hit with one of the two atomic bombs ever used in warfare. It's an interesting look to see the immediate aftermath of the bombing that took place on August 6, 1945. And then to see what become of that city just about 30 years later when this story aired on CBS.

Incidentally today August 9, 2025 is the 80th anniversary of the atomic bomb attack on Nagasaki. Not long after that the Japanese surrendered to the Allies effectively ending for good the 2nd World War.

Within the past year, I've taken more of an interest in this subject and have concluded how horrible nukes are to the world. We'd be better off without them and I could accept this might have been the option to end the war - especially if it was believed that fanatical Japanese resisters would've lead to many casualties of an Allied soldier in a potential invasion of the Japanese homeland.

These days I've learned that the nukes we have now would make the atomic bombs of 1945 look like child's play. If there was an exchange it wouldn't just be devastating for a city, it could be devastating for the globe.

Ben Shapiro: Kamala’s DISASTROUS “Comeback” Tour Begins on Colbert

[VIDEO] Our former Vice President - the first woman to hold that office - had made the news this past week. She elected not to run for California Governor next year. Which is probably a smart move as she's just not up to ruining California even further. Oh and that's IMHO.

With that said if she ran Ben Shapiro in the above video would say she wouldn't even get out of the primary. To be fair, I don't know about that. It's California we're talking about, she wasn't doing that great on the national stage anyway with her presidential primary race in 2020 - and after really floundering then future President Joe Biden would tap her as her running mate anyway.

And let's also bear in mind while she might note that she had a very short presidential race as she was tapped as the Democrat nominee once President Biden drops out of the running her decisive loss just underscores her stature on the national stage.

And that's the basis of her new book which she discusses her short campaign which Ben Shapiro discusses in the video above.

He even discusses her appearance on the soon to be cancelled Late Show w/ Stephen Colbert. The highlight of her return to the spotlight.

Hulkamania, forever

@WWE IG

This news actually broke yesterday and it was shocking. And in his case it warrants this blog post here otherwise it would go on the "Beta".

I wrote a tweet that read something like this
There are a lot of people who take issue with some of Hogan's tall tales or even his alleged racism, I still respect him as a wrestling legend. He was one of the first wrestling champions I cheered. He's not a perfect man, no one is.

A lot of people are saying that Hogan - aka as Terry Gene Bollea - was a racist p.o.s. and the recording that came out within the last decade led to his temporary separation from WWE (the organization formerly known as the World Wrestling Federation or WWF) in about 2015-16. Of course he came back long enough to be booed by the wrestling fans in attendance for Monday Nite Raw's debut on Netflick as he attempted to put over Real American Beer - has latest business venture.

That proved to be his last appearance in front of the WWE Universe.

I used the nice term tall tales, but some people do think of him as a liar. Perhaps telling tall tales of how he put others over and also reports of him trying to protect his top position at the expense of others.

I don't think much of his usage of the N-word or even his attempts to sort of explain himself. Perhaps it's more the stories of how he protected his position in the business when he was still an active wrestler. I may take more issue with that than anything else.

No denying, however, that he is the most recognized wrestler ever. Perhaps there would be now WWE without him the 1980s. He belongs on the Mount Rushmore of pro wrestling although we can debate the other four performers.

As I stated he was the first wrestling champion I ever cheered, and then when he turned heel in WCW and joined the nWo I booed him. I still did when he came back to the organization then known as the WWF. While I might have not let go of his heel persona, I was glad to see the nostalgia and he was cheered by the crowds again in one of his last runs in the now WWE. He sort of adjusted very well to the "Ruthless Aggression" era.

And now he leaves us with memories. He had been in declining health in recent months. Hadn't made many public appearances, even was rarely posting on social media - it was even reported any pics of him were older pics. There were reports that he had been in the hospital for a bit and the last report a day before his demise was he had a damaged trachea.

And then he leaves us to have his last match with the Macho Man Randy Savage who died over a decade ago.

R.I.P. Hulk Hogan

PBD Podcast: NYC Mayor Eric Adams

[VIDEO] Last month yielded an interesting result. I banked on former Governor Andrew Cuomo becoming the new Mayor, however, he couldn't quite defeat the presumptive nominee.

That nominess is named Zohran Mamdaii whom is actually a member of the New York State Legislature. He is a self described Democratic Socialist and seeing some of his soundbites I can see why New Yorkers will choose him over Cuomo. To be fair Cuomo who is trying to rebuild his political career is still largely dogged by his handling of the pandemic as New York state governor and of course the misconduct that led to him resigning in 2021.

The incumbent Mayor is Eric Adams - a former police officer and a former Brooklyn Borough President. I had high hopes for him considering his background as a police officer. He was a marked change from Mayor Bill de Blasio who largely ruined NYC. However, I got the feeling he really wasn't the right man for the job of mayor of America's largest city.

However, at least I get to hear from him. He has spoked with Tucker Carlson another time and while I'm sure he's nowhere near right of center philosophically. I was glad to hear from him on Patrick Bet David's podcast on Friday morning. He would call on former Gov. Cuomo to drop his bid as while he failed to win the Democratic nomination for mayor he's choosing to run as an independent. While Mayor Adams ran as a Democrat in 2021, he's choosing to run as an independent this year.

Perhaps for those New Yorkers who are about common sense, the question is whether or not Cuomo and Adams on the ballot will split that vote and allow Assemblyman err Assemblymember Mamdani to be elected Mayor.

Mamdani seems to be a great communicator, however, he has displayed his opinions over the years. His Twitter shows his thoughts on police and of course he believes in create public groceries stores - remember a public option for produce. So we know where he stands on two issues.

Beyond that he appears to have weighed in on the Palestine affair and I get the feeling that the power brokers of NYC will find a way to get him off the ballot. Barring that and he does remain on the ballot Mamdani isn't a lock yet.

Of course as the incumbent mayor is now finally attempting to get his message out, we'll see how well he knows his voters as he claims. He may well also claim there is a bias against him due to his arrangements with President Trump - especially with regards to any potential prosecution by the Federal gov't under Joe Biden. And of course some of his contrary positions with regards to policing and immigration which he had to tackle within the first two years of his time in office.

We have a long way until November when we'll see how things will play out.

Finally, I really like the idea of using a gender-neutral term for members of the state house in New York. I like that better than our new gender-neutral term for Aldermen - Alderperson, yuck! I want to create new titles for members of the Chicago City Council.

If you made it this far with this post I hope you enjoy the hour & a half of PBD's podcast.

O'Reilly: The real Iran story

[VIDEO] Since the weekend what has been dominating the news are Donald Trump's airstrikes targeting the Iranian nuclear program. It was in the world's best interest that the radical theocracy of Iran doesn't get nuclear weapons. The nation itself is also considered a state sponsor of terrorism.

As a matter of fact before the past weekend's U.S. airstrikes, Israel has been performing their own airstrikes against the Islamic Republic of Iran which had also targeted Iran's nuclear program. After the Israelis and the U.S. conducted their airstrikes.

By June 23, 2025, a ceasefire between Israel and Iran was declared. There were some violations of this ceasefire and when President Trump spoke to the press at some point after this he dropped an F-bomb. Not very presidential but hey he's keeping it real.

U.S. Army 250th Anniversary Parade

[VIDEO] I'm sorry to have missed this.

June 14, 2025 wasn't just the anniversary of the U.S. Army which began it's history as the Continental Army which successfully fought for independence from the British Empire. As often said before there was a nation there was an army.

Anyway bear in mind that June 14 was also Flag Day, President Trump's birthday, and it seems as a result of this parade there were No Kings rally held around the country including in Chicago.

This parade was controversial however it was great to see US Army history on display and wish many thanks to currently serving U.S. Army soldiers and veterans.

John Stossel: The 'woke right'

[VIDEO] I do consider myself right wing and find them often correct on a number of issues, my goal these days is try to remember that they're not perfect either. And what if they're prone to the same insanity as the "liberal left progressives". What did I see at the end of the video discussions of white/christian nationalism, misogyny, anti-religious freedom, etc.

If the right goes nuts what hope does Americans have against the current insanity of the left? And we're seeing some of that in Los Angeles right now as they are rioting against Trump's immigration policy.

Tucker: This Is Why Your Cities Have Become More Dangerous

In sharing this with you all, I wanted to remind you that an anniversary is coming up. George Floyd's death at the hands of Minneapolis Police five years ago. It touched off a very chaotic period in American cities and eventually moved around the world.

The civil unrest that took place around the country in the wake of Floyd's death happened during the pandemic as the world began to sort of open up after a time of mitigation efforts. My belief is that this wouldn't have been as problematic if people weren't largely isolated in their homes in an effort to mitigate the spread of the coronavirus.

Harmeet Dhillion is currently the head of the Civil Rights Division in the Trump administration. And she discusses why American cities had become very unsafe and she often cites these federal consent decrees. You can watch below and once you see her speak with Tucker Carlson I will have more thoughts. [VIDEO]

Dhillon notes the Ferguson effect, which is probably reference to what happened there with Michael Brown. The issue she discusses is how in some of these cities police officers are forced to write reports which keeps them from policing. And she notes how many officers instead choose to leave the police force for good or they may opt to go somewhere that allows them to actually police. She even note that the edicts often come down from the federal gov't and those who oversee these decrees may have very little experience with policing.

In most recent news, we've learned that the Minneapolis and Louisville police departments have had consent decrees lifted from the federal gov't. As you may know in Louisville, KY there was a young lady named Breonna Taylor who sadly was shot to death in a police raid.

While protests regarding her were not as widespread as Floyd, there were a lot of people I saw as passionate about her case as well.
