[VIDEO] Again I can be a geek for how other nations governs themselves. Yesterday it was reported that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was to face a no-confidence vote by his own Conservative Party, if it was successful the party has to select a new leader and essentially a new Prime Minister. Well for now P.M. Johnson is safe.
Party rules dictate that there can't be another vote like this for at least at a year. And I don't know the full political implications of this however I understand there were some issues with some conduct during the pandemic. Sort of like some politicians here in America.
For example, you've established essentially a lockdown. You can't dine-out, you can't have large gatherings - in some instance can't go to church - while the politician who issues that lockdown decides to have a party in a restaurant contradicting their own lockdown order. So it's not just state governors or mayors now British Prime Ministers.
Anyway some sources view him as politically wounded by this vote. All I can say is time will tell. Amazingly the Conservatives have been in power for over a decade after yet another decade-plus of Labour gov't
