[VIDEO] Well John Stossel explains this at great lengths, however, the more simplistic answer that I give is that the progressives want us to give up our gas cars for the sake of climate change and force us to buy electric vehicles. I have experienced the thought process of building an oil pipeline is harmful to the environment although what Stossel discusses is how energy companies try to drill without much impact to the environment.
