Best is no long chief of the Seattle Police because not only did the Seattle city council opt to defund their police they also opted to give the police chief who was Ms. Best at that time a pay cut. Best if you don't know is a Black woman who made it up the chain of command to become a police chief,
After the wild events of 2020 especially in Seattle where they had to remove a so-called autonomous zone Carmen Best finally talks after the events that led to her leaving her position as chief of a big city police department.
