I retweeted Rich Miller's post on Twitter so now I must blog about it. As I said on Twitter it was just too "rich" to share and no pun intended.
I've seen enough rhetoric on both sides though often I focus on the left-leaning, progressive, Democrat reactions to this Rittenhouse verdict. Miller usually follows Illinois news and politics so as he stated here he avoided any reacts from our state's politicians including this one from our Governor.Part-time DuPage Dem social media staffer resigns after horrid and stupid tweets https://t.co/QRkq9DiePZ

Carrying a loaded gun into a community 20 miles from your home and shooting unarmed citizens is fundamentally wrong.

So anyway in Miller's post today he took at a look at a part-time Dem staffer to a county party in suburban Chicago saying callous things and certainly using the county Democratic party's social media accounts. Thankfully there was enough self-awareness to recognize that the staffer's views don't represent the party's organization. Things that probably shouldn't be said in such polarizing times. Both sides do need to be mindful of what they say.
Worse still some of what was said in light of what happened in Waukesha, Wisconsin over the weekend. Tragic that a Black man just decided to drive through a parade and hit as many people as possible. We don't know why that man went into that crowd and some of those social media posts by that now former Dem staffer connected this with the Rittenhouse verdict.
Another thing Miller spelled out as he went on in this post is that "you’re often being manipulated…"
What does that mean? It's spelled out that from an NBC security contributor's tweet that many tweets from those accounts that were "pro-Rittenhouse" were in fact foreign. Is there some international operation going on to further internal tensions in America?
