[VIDEO] No! Mayor Lightfoot the criticism you're receiving is not because you're a Black woman it's because you weren't ready to be mayor to begin with.
In this video from our local FOX affiliate you see the Alderman whom the Mayor had an argument with on the floor of the Chicago City Council. My way or the highway which definitely works if a mayor has the political capital that evidently Lightfoot does not.
She does mention Rahm Emanuel her immediate replacement, many of us have no idea what we had with him as mayor. I wish I could predict how he'd have conducted the pandemic but the civil unrest I have a hard time believing he'd tolerate it.
Anyway 2023 is just under two years ago. It's either that or just leave Chicago I'm saving my cash so hopefully it'll be a smooth transition to go elsewhere.
BTW, I see William J. Kelly the troll is back further exposing the Mayor check it out at this link. Actually he wasn't as much of a troll as he started off in another press conference. Did the Mayor deny we had race riots last year?
