I don't normally post this early and probably haven't for years, however, worth sharing now as it broke overnight.
Well this is after reports that one of his aides Hope Hicks has herself tested positive for the coronavirus.Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19. We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!

This is a tricky disease and probably like a lot of people I go back and forth on it. I feel as if this disease has gotten more political as there is a divide as far as how serious this virus is and how to deal with it. There are still those out there who may be politicians and/or regular citizens who think we need to lockdown indefinitely & that's very unrealistic.
At this stage as shocking as this news is, I think we're in a better position now that we were when most of the country did the lockdowns. Florida has ended their restrictions over the weekend and now I hear Mississippi is ending their facemasks mandates. Also I'm pretty sure our medical system have figured out how to treat this virus better than they had at the start.
When I clicked through to read the replies to President Trump's tweet I instantly regretted it. There were memes of Clorox thrown about especially thrown around by Michael Rappaport - you might have seen him in such films as Higher Learning - the Clorox is making reference to an anti-malaria drug that the President discussed months earlier.
Sso anyway to the President and First Lady and Hope Hicks and anyone else affected I wish all a speedy recovery. The President and First Lady have started their quarantine, which is prudent and no more than two weeks. There were well wishes from yet another world leader - a head of state or head of gov't - after the President's announcement. In this case he himself also contracted the virus.
My best wishes to President Trump and the First Lady. Hope they both have a speedy recovery from coronavirus.

This episode proves anyone can catch covid-19 anywhere, because it's airborne. ಠ﹏ಠ
