Larry Elder: Republican party racist, but needs more diversity?

[VIDEO] There aren't enough Black faces in the Republican Party would be the charge of Democrats who make diversity part of their appeal, however, they would still turn around and accuse those Black who are Republicans of being sellouts. To be fair this isn't exactly old news for as long as I've followed politics there have been attacks on those Blacks who are Republicans.

Especially noted in the beginning in Elder's video is the response to the Attorney General of Kentucky Daniel Cameron for his ruling last month in the tragic shooting death of Breonna Taylor. He suffered a lot of attacks based on his skin color denigrated by a former LAPD sergeant - who herself is Black - as skinfolk not kinfolk. On social media I've seen attacks on him based on the fact that he's married to a white woman.

Overtime on this blog, I have questioned why are Blacks voting so overwhelmingly for Democrats? Why do we look at those Blacks who are Republican differently than those who are Democrats? Why would Democrats be viewed as more attentive to Black issues than Republicans?

And to go back to an earlier video liberals are often trained to fear conservatives or the right more so than they're fearful of the "rabid left" (who took down statues of Lincoln and Theodore Roosevelt over the weekend). I think the same thing happens in Black communities sadly, and I experienced it once in a classroom even wrote about it.
