Been quite a while since I've linked to Instapundit which started off with this comment from April 30th:
There is a growing trend as far as defiance by the public of these stay at home orders and keeping people out of public beaches and parks. I get that these activities could help the spread of this virus at the same time I recognize that people are getting restless. It's time to end gradually some of these restrictions.
The weather is getting much nicer, and it's going to be hard to keep people indoors.
I want to note that in Chicago, a field hospital at our convention center McCormick place will soon be deactivated and dismantled. Looking for a positive sign, I latched onto this especially since it was designed to be an overflow for mild coronavirus cases. However, Illinois' public officials have latched onto the idea of this state having not reached it's peak as of yet.
SPEAKING AS A LIBERTARIAN, ONE THING I LIKE ABOUT THIS PANDEMIC IS THE WAY IT HAS MADE PEOPLE IN AUTHORITY LOOK RIDICULOUS:Making a reference to California Governor Gavin Newsome wanting to close off the beaches. And it seems there are some in the media who are reconsidering the approach to this current crisis. We've tried the lockdowns for a month isn't it time to slowly but surely reopen. Why continue these quarantining measures?
