I don't often watch the videos of What Culture Wrestling on YouTube. They parse everything here, although lets be clear I've learned that on occasion McMahon has commissioned unusual angles for example Shawn Michaels was wrestling Owen Hart got some offense going and collapsed in the ring. This happened on an edition of Raw back in the 1990s and the show ended with paramedics working on Michaels. It seemed real - if I recall seeing this it's possible that I'd have believed it - turns out this was an angle all planned and for show.
So what happened with Reigns this past Monday was good TV. Now behind the scenes Reigns may be the golden boy, but he has legitimately been suspended in past for wellness violations - usually this involves things like performance enhancing substances. I found even some articles online of Reigns recent on-air announcement of his suspension from sources that seem legitimate, they took this serious. Although the What Culture guy was right if this was serious why would the cameraman follow Reigns go directly to the boss in anger.
I'd imagine that if you were really upset with your boss it would be cool to bring a camera as you're ushered into an office. Perhaps post that particular incident on YouTube and then possibly see your reputation either go up in the public eye or go down because perhaps that's not the thing to do anyway. Do you want the world to see you upset to the point that you confront your supervisor?
Anyway I tweeted this, later in the nite John Cena was doing his segment - Cena I've realized is another WWE superstar whom many fans have a love/hate sort of thing with - he tried to lead the crowd in Detroit in a chant for Reigns it was met with boos. The WWE universe in Detroit wasn't going for it, quite hilarious.

As a fan, I've grown somewhat tired of these backstage segments and these show starting confrontations in the ring that sets up matches during the show. If only the creative team behind WWE program knew how to - even if it was somewhat predictable - find ways to just shake things up from time to time. Perhaps Raw could start with a match every now and then. With the match out of the way then get on with the drama of the TV production known as the WWE universe.
Did the Roman Reigns segment from this past Monday get your attention?
