A brief video from Channel 2. Apparently while Obama was deciding whether or not to take a shot at the Presidency, Daley was about to move for the 2016 Olympics. Daley was selected as a prospective host for the 2016 Olympics. Then recently still Obama becomes the Democratic nominee for President while Chicago is amongst four finalists to host the 2016 games. Will Obama's election as President of the United States mean that Chicago will become the host of the 2016 Olympic games?
If one believes that then surely someone is working overtime to get Obama elected.
Also over at The Sixth, I took some pictures at an Olympic demonstration. I don't know whether this happened before I arrived at Daley Plaza or after, but apparently Obama made an appearance there. I didn't get to witness that.
