Timcast IRL: Musk starts BANNING accounts doxing with real time information

[VIDEO] Tim Pool discusses this with his crew on his recent podcast. I think this discussion and Elon Musk's Twitter new policy on "doxing" had to do with this incident.

Just hours after claiming that sharing personal information that could put a person in danger was illegal on Twitter, Elon Musk posted a video of a man in a car he claimed was harassing his child, posting their license plate to his over 120 million followers.

The drama Wednesday began with the suspension of @ElonJet, an account run by a teenager that tracked the location of Elon Musk’s private jet using publicly available data. Musk banned the account, just a month after saying that his dedication to free speech was so great that he would keep the account online.

We're living in chaotic times. People decide they don't like you so any information they can use to intimidate you. The wrong opinions can cause safety issues. Are we at a point beyond can we agree to disagree? Does everything you do cause enemies to come out of the woodwork.

I just had to share Musk's tweet showing the man.

Now people have an issue with this and the man is covering his face, and of course the license plate is shared in the video. All I can say to this is that if you come for someone you get what you get. And I suppose you're lucky if videoing that person doesn't cause such a situation to escalate.
