[VIDEO] I've been wondering why there hasn't been much Amtrak traffic on the webcam at Ft. Madison, Iowa in recent days. There is a looming railroad strike coming. And most of Amtrak's long distance routes are over freight railways. For that matter this affects suburban commuters in Chicago because Metra also mostly runs over the freight railways....
Another mess, I could see this affecting the supply chain.
OH, I forgot to add. Considering the state of our political leadership, I'm not very sure they're able to solve the issues of railroad labor.
