Well here's one hope of many on the right if industrialist Elon Musk is successful in his bid to buy out Twitter. Could former President Donald J Trump regain his twitter account which was permanent banned and suspended not long after that so-called insurrection on January 6, 2021?
If you're asking me, I'm a long way from saying Musk will do the unthinkable and allow President Trump back onto the platform. One thing I will say we were discussing Twitter a lot more when Trump wrote his mean tweets.
I feel as if you allow representatives from repressive regimes from around the world such as the Taliban to use this very public and important platform then why keep a former President off? And as my own complain with censorship you come up with excuses to de-platform someone like the former President who although he lost the election he was still the sitting President.
I feel as if Twitter hasn't been making the news as it has been since Trump was permanently banned from the platform. If nothing else Musk put that platform right back on the news lately.
If I do hear anything about Twitter in recent months it might be something wrestling related or perhaps some controversy I found out from some conservative or a Twitter critic I do follow. Usually when it comes to the controversy there might be a note of a meltdown from what is said to be Twitter's core audience - a progressive left liberal.
You know would Elon Musk be attempting to buyTwitter had they not bumped Donald Trump off the platform? Beyond allowing him back on, this is something worth pondering.
