[VIDEO] I'm sorry to say my familiarity with Dr. Seuss is pretty low. I know about the Cat in the Hat or Green Eggs and Ham for example. On Tucker Carlson Tonight I learned about the book about the Sneetches which someone has further explained on my twitter according to their own POV as much as I could disagree. I allowed that individual to have his opinion while I hold onto my own.
Dr. Seuss has been dead since 1991 - and I might vaguely remember that. It was a sad day when he passed away, and surely many of his fans were sad.
Bill O'Reilly goes over the Seuss controversy and other things primarily brands that does feature minorities that have been canceled as of late. Aunt Jemima has gone through a name change just like the Washington Redskins and the Cleveland Indians.
I didn't know that Seuss had some racist views in his lifetime although his books are said to contain some these relatable to the issues of equality. In the Sneetches book I saw a theme of individuality while using a physical attribute as denoting status.
Regardless I like to think people can change their values their behavior. Cancelling Seuss for whatever racism he had, especially once he started his career in children's books, and denying his transformation is a travesty.
