MSNBC delegate leaderboard

Well understand that when I post this there is a lot of research I have to do about understanding how this works. If I understand correctly most aren't even close to actually winning the nomination as I write this. In both parties getting delegates aren't much different than winning electors to become President. You need a majority of delegates voting for you just like you need a majority of the votes in the electoral college. In all actuality popular votes be damned!

So anyway the conventions for the Republicans and Democrats this summer is likely to be interesting. This might be the first time in a long time that we may not know who'll actually win the nomination. All we have are presumed nominees but that's all they are presumed!
