Public school teacher leads students to pledge allegiance to Pan African flag

 

Well on this Juneteenth observed I wanted to share this tweet with you of a 1st grade teacher leading her class in a pledge of allegiance not to the US flag, but to the Pan African flag. Someone might see this as anti-American indoctrination and presumably this is at a public school.

I'll have to admit this is the first I've heard of this pledge. I know of a pledge to the Red, Black and Green flag. That's a better pledge. I really like the ode to the Red, Black & Green

Why are mobs tearing down American monuments?

[VIDEO] Just as I professed the Andrea Mitchell and Delegate Eleanor Holmes-Norton represented the institutions the mob wants to remake in their own image, these monuments  - regardless of whether or not they represent the Confederacy or the United States itself - are just more things the mob also wants to remake in their own image. We can't have our symbols.

Granted some of our monuments are for very flawed men - and in some cases very flawed and very troubled such as 7th POTUS Andrew Jackson across the street from the White House for many his history is still problematic. What I do see from this mob or perhaps more accurately the SJW mob, they're looking for any excuse to tear down our nation's treasured monuments.

The municipal flag of Chicago is an enduring symbol. The Mayor wears a lapel pin version of it and in addition many local websites and local t-shirt makers uses elements of this flag in their designs. For example consider the header for my other blog, The Sixth Ward. I would dare say no other US city comes close to Chicago although some have even more simpler design elements.
