[VIDEO] Poor Andy Cuomo just last year he had the world in his hands and today it all fell apart on him. Governor of New York since 2011 and more than halfway into his third term he resigns. The firestorm especially over allegations of sexual harassment and other inappropriate behaviors have helped do him in. And let's not forget the criminal complaint.
Think about this in 2008 Gov. Eliot Spitzer resigns his office due to allegations of his procuring the services of sex workers. He was replaced by New York's first Black and blind Governor - David Paterson - for the last two years or so of Spitzer's term.
Now in 2021 N.Y. Governor's office will be headed by a woman for the first time in 14 days Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul will assume office. Question is will she mount a campaign to remain Governor. Time will tell perhaps there is more than enough time to fundraise and get her name out there.
Regardless as I said soon New York will have a new governor whether impeached, resigned, or defeated in an election. We're there now and still I would say the Empire State needs a course correction soon!
