[VIDEO] Well Joe Biden has finally done it and gave his first press conference of his presidency. No recent President has gone this long without giving a press conference. Was he just going to hide in his "bunker" forever?
I think Bill O'Reilly was fair in his assessment. There are a few commentators who are concerned with Biden's cognitive ability and O'Reilly didn't really attack Biden over losing track of his train of thought. However, the more substantive parts of this press conference were legit, his thoughts on the border and what migrants he's letting in. And whether or not Biden plans to run for re-election in '24.
According to O'Reilly, Biden backtracked that. Perhaps there's a possibility Biden won't bother running again. Increasingly I see Biden as our Clement Atlee, oh dear a little history.
Atlee succeeded Winston Churchill as the Prime Minister of Great Britain near the end of the 2nd World War. I view Atlee as a leftist leader compared to Churchill's more conservative and certainly his war time gov't. Atlee served a term as Prime Minister before Churchill's Conservative Party regained the government and thus Churchill served another term as Prime Minister just in time for the Cold War.
Well I view Biden the same way. He had a history of being more moderate, however, I think he ceded some power to the progressive liberal left. It would be alright if he governed more moderately, however, that's not happening and it shows. I think in another clip O'Reilly further analyzes that Biden was controlled during this press conference.
I wonder if anyone else has any thoughts.
