John Stossel: 'Mostly fair' media

[VIDEO] Over the years I've believed in the idea of a very biased mainstream media or as Trump's term grew more popular "fake news" media. This is how I've often reasoned this.

Well many news organizations are headed by editors or producers. They may often decide the editorial or production slant of their pieces. We shouldn't kid ourselves all these media outlets have some form of bias. They're still run by people and people have their biases.

They mention FOX News and their prime-time lineup which is largely opinion based. From Tucker Carlson to Sean Hannity to Laura Ingraham they certainly have a right-wing bias. And Stossel's guest Joe Concha of The Hill would give those hosts a pass, at least they're honest with their bias. Even better one example of the bias of one Sean Hannity as he charges that Biden stated that the "police have become the enemy".

The bias itself according to Concha is because the national news media is mostly confined to the cities of Washington, D.C. and New York City. If everybody generally goes Democrat you start to find yourself conforming to that.
