Prager U: Police go where the crime is

[VIDEO] Heather MacDonald - Senior Fellow of the Manhattan Institute - in the latest Prager U video discusses how police goes where the crime is. A fact that is lost among those who insists police perpetuates violence, police is an arm of systemic racism, or that police must be abolished/defunded.

We should never justify the actions of bad police officers, however, we should always look for ways to allow good police to do their jobs effectively. And if you want to defund police that only serves to really defeat allowing good police to do their jobs effectively, especially with greater emphasis on training. Defund police that's the first thing that will go if you want them to do their jobs effectively.

Also they discuss how abolishing police is a very unpopular idea. Indeed it's unpopular in Black communities as you may have seen in at least one video on this blog.
