I heard about a boy shot in the head, the wound was said to be self-inflicted. You can find a brief write-up here. I perplexed by the comments of a Police commander who said that guns should not be kept in the home.
She was correct to say that guns are very dangerous but who is she to say they shouldn't be kept in the home. Surely the answer here is that people should be responsible with their guns not that they shouldn't have guns in the first place. Of course since she is a top cop in the police department maybe that was what she was expected to say.
