Benazir Bhutto Assassinated in Pakistan
One of the few forays into foreign affairs that this blog will go into. Benazir Bhutto has a long history in Pakistan. She was a prime minister of Pakistan elected twice to that position. Bhutto had returned to Pakistan after a self-imposed exile starting in 1998. She had avoided other assassination attempts unfortunately this attempt was successful. From Washington Post.
